Only the day before I was on my way to a camping holiday in Newquay, Cornwall. As we passed the RAF base in Treloy, the Red Arrows were just taking off in arrow formation. We saw 2 groups of 3. Pretty awesome as they passed over us at about house roof height.
Been watching them since the late '60s when they flew KNATS, the safety record is very good, its just one of those things. If the RED ARROWS get grounded then it is TOTALLY WRONG RIP the pilot, you have given so much happiness to so MANY people.
@Epionea no need to apologize fella lets put all differences aside its the pilot we should all be thinking about not the queen not america not england and not the falklands war its the pilot who is the hero of the day the plane crash happend 3miles away from my home im fortunate that the brave guy flying in the plane stayed with it and steered it away from houses otherwise who knows me my daughter and my girlfriend could be dead right now he is a brave pilot and a true hero..
@svareter42 That goes without saying but as a rule I've not seen many skin headed, tattooed, wife beater wearing guys who not only sound intelligent but articulate respectful. I love having my preconceptions shattered - Makes me smile :)
RIP to the fallen Arrow. Just watched them display a few weeks back at Southport. Amazing skill. This pilot saved countless lives by steering his stricken plane away from houses. A true hero.
Red arrows really dropped in performance recently, they’re so quiet, boring and the routine hadn’t changed in years. Need new planes and to spice up the performance a bit.
@PapioG that is exactly what i though lol, the moment he was shown on the screen i was like o crap they got some thug to speak, when he started speaking my jaw dropped =0 but yes RIP to this young man =(
@GODH8TZ...Hi there, erm i need a bit of help and i was just wondering if you could give me some of your sound advice old chap.Well,i happened to notice that on T.V. tonight they are showing a film called 'Priest'(starring Linus Roache) & i get this sneaking suspicion that there might possibly be some 'hot bum action' going involved. Now obviously i dont want to run the risk of spending an eternity 'down there' so i just need to get a rough idea of what my chances are if i go ahead & watch it?
@Epionea okay guys not wanting to get involved in this but can we stop the bickering on this link its remembering the man who had a talent non of us could do what he did and non of us are brave enough to do what he did today who cares about if england is better than america or viseversa they both our countries are screwed up so lets just put our differences aside for the fallen pilot. thank you
@MrNellie2200 Re: "well obv theres no next living existence" : Wow! You've been beyond this life and managed to come back to tell US ALL this most important 'fact' ! When may I conduct an interview with you? We need to let the whole world know that someone has finally broken the Soul-Barrier! As for the other half of your comment: I don't know. What I do know is that this is the most indescribable time for his loved ones; especially his beloved wife Emma. Let US ALL share our deepest sympathy.
@mitsukai89 Why are you slagging off the british? If you look through history us and the dutch have had an amazing friendship. We helped the dutch in world war 2 by air dropping food when you were starving and since then every year the dutch airforce air drop cheese over english raf bases to say thank you. Us and the dutch are cool.
@GODH8TZ Ur, no. I'm denying it because it does not exist in my opinion. Infact, you can believe all you want. You cannot force me to believe it. Niether can I force you not to believe it. Do us a favour and stop commenting. Your wasting your life. I'm not arguing anymore out of respect for this man and his family. You can send me private messages all you like, I will respond only to them, but not here. P.S. You can't say I will go to Hell. Only think it. Now stop acting God and leave. -Athiest
@mitsukai89 you have more respect than me? please and i dont give a crap if your not in the uk. This pilot is a hero, he coulda let that plane crash into a crowd but no he successfully controlled the plane away from the crowd. Im gonna stop arguing with you now because its just childish and your wasting my time. goodbye
What is wrong with you all? A man, a human being, has died, tragically. I've been privileged to watch the Red Arrows perform many times at RAF Family's Days & their display's always amazed & thrilled us all. To us, the family's of RAF and other MOD personnel, it is like losing someone from an extended family & my thoughts are for his loss & for his family & colleagues. Some of the comments here are inhuman & an absolute disgrace. Show some humility at this time please. RIP
@mearcat74 Opps this is not a tribute but how sad is it that scum talk out of their arsses without remorse or care? what saddens me is that they have bigger issues in their lives and need to step back and realize its not them we care about!
@johnlovestohate Common guys, can we try and have just 1 youtube video without people arguing about absolutely nothing! Flight Lieutenant Jon Egging lost his life, If your going to post, post something respectful or nothing at all! Red 4, you will be missed!
@fuchsiasteve1 a true hero indeed my friend my thoughts go out to him and his family i never like hearing about a fallen pilot it saddens me as i lost a great uncle in the second world war he flew a halifax bomber and was shot down over berlin tailing the enemy he to was a true hero like the man who died today.
anyone who knows that it is likely that they are going to perish yet has the fortitude to ensure that others are not harmed, is , imo. a brave person. I hope that, in time,. , his loved ones will be able to draw some comfort from his bravery.
@mikexxxp86 The man stayed with the plane to avert crashing into housing, according to reports. And he also had served in Afghanistan too! The Red Arrows were all RAF top pilots! And with his refusing to bail out of his plane til the last seconds to effect its landing in a damage control way "binning it over farmland" (rather than in a populated area) as you put it, risking (fatally in this case) earns him hero status at least twice.
@@louiep777 yeah that’s the worst time for it I live close to Sunderland and the air show they have is ridiculous especially when you’ve got Vulcans going super sonic at a altitude of about 500ft🤣
