Truly amazing. As a writer myself I am currently prototyping a five deck card system strictly for character development. Applying this Story Engine concept after building my character would be great content for future videos.

I'm not even all the way through yet and I'm already in awe of how you wove all these story elements together so well. It sounds like such a unique and interesting novel! Love the presentation of the story "web" as well, so cool to see!

The phasing technology is the ultimate tool for a collector; he can return to the past to gather "collectable" items and bring them back to the present. Remember, the android is "ghostly", so it may be the "phasing android" that the people in the hamlet see, and they now believe that the phasing android is a ghost.

Fun video! I keep meaning to order Peter's story decks to play around with.

Thanks! They're a great tool to pull out for a quick hit of inspiration.

Both sets are a lot of fun to play with. Even if I don’t think that I’m good enough to write the stories that they create. :)
Today I created a mini story about a nurse, who works/lives in a monastery/hospital where a rare fruit grows that turns to be part of the cure for a contagion. The nurse became famous for finding that cure. He is unaware that his mom is still alive, but the mom is suffering from that contagion and she’ll have to show herself to him in order to survive. (I haven’t found out yet why she wants to keep her existence a secret still, my running theory is that the nurse was put up for adoption for reasons as yet unexplored but that the mom has kept a close eye on how her son was doing and when he became famous for finding the cure for the very thing she was suffering from, she saw that as a sign that she had to go see him)

Your ghostly chaotic android which phases in & out initially reminded me of "The Shrike" in Hyperion Cantos. Although that one was a serial killer, of sorts, instead of looking for one. Nice pick!

What happened to make the android stop killing people for the serial killer and make him go after him instead?
This was so much fun! I’m looking forward to my deck of worlds, it’s on the way and I can’t wait to play with it!!!

What did you use to create the "mind maps"?

I edit my videos with Adobe Premiere, so I did them in there!
