I am so sorry I can't stand that song. Different isn't always good. The instrumentation is bad. Her voice is non existent tbh. Happy for Ireland to maybe reach the final because of being different but it's nothing I wanna listen too and sadly I don't want to watch the performance too. There is something disturbing about it...I am not scared it's really just disturbing.
YES! It's happening to me, the more I watch this performance, the better it gets for me! I'm almost moving Ireland to my 3rd place above Luxembourg, imagine how great it will be in the Eurovision stage!
Ireland has finally sent something I will LOVE... after 20 years of me watching the contest and only liking "Together" up until now, Ireland, this might me my fave entry till date from them. :O
Eurosong at the Late Late Show has one of the smallest, least flashy stages of any national final, so I'm really excited to see this get the full treatment at Malmo, especially if RTE gives Bambie and their team a wide range of creative control. I think it's gonna be epic. Semifinals are televote only this year, so even though there'll be lots of people might no really like the song, for those who do, this is a performance that people will jump to passionately vote for over some of the safer options.
It is so fabulous - I have been listening to this so much! And I'm Australian and can vote for this. LOVE IT. LOVE IT. No more boring beige from Ireland -I've never voted for you before but I'm all in on this one.
@@ang159el honey, this will defo grab people's attention! With a good revamp, and good staging (+ if Bambie improve vocally) it will qualify! + gays, goths, and Harry Potter fans will vote for it 😊
I think its a tough call and tomorrow could be a huge deciding factor on irelands qualification chances. They definetley need the uk and preferably not Lithuania or poland (israel and maybe iceland too) so the uk has noone else to give 12 votes to, then outside of the top 20 for the final.
@escziva_bambiedefender I'm 2 out of the 3 (gay and harry potter fan) and I will definitely not vote for it. This song is so specific that qualifying will be difficult. It's a you love or hate it song.
@@ricooric2580 You can love it. You can hate it. But you can't ignore it! Being polarising is a good thing in a 100% televote competition, the people who love it *will* vote for it, the people who hate it probably weren't gonna vote for another bland, middle-of-the-road, inoffensive pop song/ballad either. It may not qualify (although I think it will) but it has people talking positively about Ireland in Eurovision for the first time in years.
Avada Kedabra Bambie speak to destroy the Eurovision stage. 🥳 They are such an iconic performer & stage presence. Cannot wait to see them on the ESC-Stage.
This is a real grower and has super potential. If it's this impressive on the late late stage it's going to explode in Malmo! At last Ireland such an exciting entry!
The More I listen to it the more I love it. This could be amazing on the stage. Austrailia you can be my bestie. Frances face was hilarious .. he was traumatised 🤣🤣
Ireland took a risk this year and it PAID OFF!!! No longer are Ireland sending genric AF boy bands! The crowd seemed revitalised at Eurosong and everyone even the in studio panel were wowed! Ireland has upped it's game! The song won't be everyone's cup of tea...but that's the point! People who hate it won't be able to vote it down whereas us lot that love it will champion it and SEEK TO DESTROY the competition! My first place! Bambie's live vocals, dancing and stage presence is second to none! The staging is also great for a small studio!
I went into Eurosong preparing to root for "Go Tobhann," but this captivated me immediately and I kinda found myself rooting for it instead. And sure enough! I'm a New Yorker but I love Irish pop culture and history and am always rooting for them to do well at Eurovision. This is absolutely their best entry since I started following Eurovision and I hope this gets them at least back to the top ten!
I adore them. Im so exicited to watch Bambie on eurovision stage. They are not just a singer, they are a performer. They are feeling song in their veins. And Im feeling too with them. My winner already
Miceal, it was so lovely to bump into you at the Late Late. Cannot even tell you how excited I am that Bambie Thug (my fave) won. So odd to have complete & utter faith in our act but I am relishing this feeling. I have been watching all the reactions, enjoying the wtf faces way too much & thinking to myself they don't even know how truely good BT really is cos they haven't seen them live. Can't wait🤗
I wouldn’t usually listen to this type of music, but I can’t wait to watch/experience it on a huge stage with a huge budget. Yes it is polarizing, but nobody can vote against it and it will have many fans! Look at Ireland bringing something unique - unexpected but cool.
Dark art on the Eurovision stage, what could be better?🖤✨️🌙 Only Bambie can be my winner!🔥❤ As a part of the Gothic scene I have to love this and to celebrate ecstatically, because Bambie Thug is giving us alternative people a voice and is speaking out for those who are different - not only in their musical tastes, but also in their worldviews and lifestyles. "Doomsday Blue" as a composition already delivers everything a lover of dark, enigmatic and slightly progressive music could ever dream of: The fusion of mesmerizing genres that originally shouldn't fit together but create a perfect mélange in these three minutes of the most beautiful fever dream, screams that are piercing marrow and bone, clean vocals that will haunt me at day and night even decades after Eurovision 2024, pulsating electronica that almost sound like they're emerging from a demonic realm, and a grand finale smashing the earth with heaviness and high energy!🖤✨️
I love this so much!! That's how an amazing and versatile vocalist sounds like! And the song itself is very creative, doesn't get boring and you don't know what to expect ♥ Thank you Ireland!!!
This song was meant for a grate stage, the performance here was well thought out and executed, I am certain this will just get better. So excited for Ireland, after all these years they are bringing it. Look out Sweden, you might not get ahaid of Ireland anytime soon.
I first heard/watched it at the final. The choreography and production there took this up 10 levels of awesomeness. I was blown away and wanted it to win, knowing that it wouldn't. Now seeing this version, without the 'boyfriend' dancing with / under her control, I'm even more surprised that Ireland were brave enough to go for it. Well done the Irish.
the late late show stage does NOT do this song justice, this is a song that'll do great on a big stage and i cannot wait to see what bambi and their team does with it !!! can i also say that miceal and danie are probably my favorite reactors, they have so much fun when reacting and their opinions are almost always the ones i agree with most, they got taste ✨️
Finally Ireland choose right. Europe is going mystical. Slovenia choose song about burned witch, in Poland favourite song is about Witcher, in Croatia Let3 has song about woman with horns Babaroga. Finally Ireland is in a game but Bambi needs improve vocally and get revamped.
I love that Bambi doesn't consider themselves to fit into any social "norms" and gender - and they extend this to their music - why put genres in their own box when you can mix them together and own it! Love love love it
The panel will probably be reflective on the vote on semi final night , which is televote only. Some love it, others not so sure , and of course haters. I predict lovers will win out bigtime, and it will sail through to final, where a jury vote awaits, and things may not be so straightforward. A left side finish a banker .
The song is definitely not the usual thing I listen to, but the performance hooked me in and I think it will every time I see it, good luck in the semis!
You need to be as many people's number 1 as possible rather than being people's 5th or 6th choice. Being polarizing is certainly a way to do it. If Poland is in Ireland's semi, Bambie has my vote.
My favorite entry so far. It’s bold, dynamic and risky. If they can put together some huge staging this song should do well at ESC…the televote will be big.
This is not my kind of music at all, but I'm so happy that Ireland is finally taking a risk. I really hope Ireland will do well with this song. Greetings from Switzerland!
I'm happy for Ireland that they finally picked Something Different. But I just do not like this song/performance, and I can't explain why. I feel like this is just one of those song that would give you a headache or kick a pre-existing headache all the way up to a full-blown migraine attack.
this can be like a Telemoveis situation - direct competition with Hatari and Kate Miller-Heidke relegated Conan Osiris to a mere curiousity and people/juries were more puzzled than willing to vote for it.
I'm still not sure how I feel about this. I mean I don't love the song ... but I love that Ireland stepped up with something different. It's the kind of thing that needs the visual of the performance though, so you can be mesmerised by the theatre of Bambie Thug rather than just listen to it as audio.
This is too dark for me, but I respect if someone likes this song. As a performance looks interesting. I can see it in the top 10 even though not liking it.
Ireland's song catches my attention at the beginning of the song, later gets boring.... Something needs to be changed.... Sorry Ireland, not my taste...if I really like the song I put it on repeat, this one ... Sorry ... No repeat for me
Marmite songs get votes! Because those who love it vote for it. It'll be their favourite. As opposed to a song that eveeyone kind of likes that tjey dont vote for because it's their 4th or 5th favourite. You can't vote against a song.
I don't completely understand Ireland's high ranking among bookmakers. For me this song is one big mess. Completely incompatible musical lines put together, plus the vocalist's voice irritates me. Screaming, screeching. For me this is the worst song so far. This song may or may not be liked. I can't stand him. Ireland 🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪 NO for me!
*WHAT DO YOU THINK OF IRELAND'S ENTRY FOR EUROVISION 2024?* 🇮🇪
It was my favourite for one day until we got Luxembourg

Nothing good.
A change but a change to be welcomed, 10/10
Love BT
I am dying at Miceal casually sitting up dressed like he ran through Carroll's at high speed, grabbing everything he could 😂
Hahaha! So true lol
As a long suffering Irish stan, the excitement in Miceal's voice throughout that entire video just makes me smile so much 🥹
My favourite song so far !
So different and captivating! My winner for now.
Let me tell you the more you hear this song the greater it gets.

I love the contrast in reactions between Beno and Dannie. As others are saying, definitely marmite
The beauty of music!! ❤️

its a masterpiece
bambie for the win
Ireland is back ( finally 😒) definitely will qualify , top 10 in my opinion - staging will be everything
I am sorry but when this will NQ, I expect y'all not to be surprised because there is NO WAY this is qualifying and NO WAY this could end up top 10.
