we Lili's fans have been blessed by Tekken 8, this is the most screentime she has ever got in the game, and she also contributing helping the team in her own way.
As a Lili main, I'm really glad that she got to play a role in story mode, even if it's kinda small, at least she provided support for Jin to transport him at Yakushima and when Alisa almost got killed by Jack-8. I hope we will see more of her get involved in story mode in the next installments hehe 💙

But in this story it basically proved that Lili can work as her own character outside of Asuka it even further shown considering Lili shows up for four endings while Asuka only have two. While unfortunately I can't still say the same with Asuka she just isn't a character outside of Lili but I am extremely happy and surprised knowing now that Lili is a character outside of Asuka.
if you look back at her debut in Tekken 5 Dark Resurrection, she's never really been a villain She joined the tournament just to take down the Mishima Zaibatsu out of love for her father as he's had an awful time with them. This continued in Tekken 6 when the Mishima Zaibatsu stole her father's oil fields & he collapsed due to to overwhelming stress despite this was where her rivalry with Asuka had established. Lili is a sassy diva both in battle and when she's usually around Asuka. In fact, Tekken 8 has been portraying Lili a lot more positively this time around thanks to her story role, her character episode, Shaheen's, & Azucena's character episodes.
