Pay attention. It is already working.
A lot of people outside of the US don't know this, but this is known as: "Operation Grab'em by the Tariff"!

Europe has as its foundation trade restrictions that American wants to replicate. Why are tariffs, restrictions and subsidies good for Europeans but not for Americans?
No, Europe has customs duties and general safety standards just like everywhere else has. Blanket surcharges of 10-25% is not something that Europe has.
@@rmdomainer9042What's 'value added' which the EU charges?
If it walks like a tariff and quacks like a tariff……

Yes we sell it and they buy it . demand will find a way no matters who sell it.
And 20,043 lbs consumed by Americans 😅
Times Radio needs to try to keep up with latest developments...they seem to be unaware of the pause for 30 days.Duh.
Can you explain to me please - how is it Trump tariffs will hurt Canada more, than retaliatory ? It is a bold assumption. Canada exports 90% of US electricity, 60% of oil, 49% of grain to name a few. All of these things will still be exported - Americans need them. Only now they also have to pay Trump tariffs on top of all these essential goods and services. Canada can survive without American whiskey and orange juice. Can America survive without Canadian energy ? No. So it will continue to buy it despite the increase in the price. American consumers will pay that. We here in Canada simply won't buy their ketchup and alcohol. Their exports will suffer, our exports likely not much. So who is gonna hurt more ???
Grain and oil are easily replaced by other countries, and if America decides to build or redirect power generation then just where is Canada going to export that electricity to?
@@seanlander9321
It takes years to build power generation stations.
If power can be redirected from other states, why hasn't it been done before?
@ Yes it takes years to build, but push Trump hard enough and he’ll have some new coal fired ones started, which will push Canada out of supplying electricity for at least two generations and play to Trump’s agenda to support coal mining.
(The power hasn’t been redirected because of green directives, which Trump doesn’t care for.)
@@seanlander9321 "which will push Canada out of supplying electricity " once again - Canada supplies 90% of American electricity. What you are suggesting is a fantasy under the influence of heavy psychedelics. We can flip the switch and all production and lights are off.
60% of oil which Texas refineries are designed to refine - it is thick, the only replacement is Venezuela and it will take billions and time for Americans to adapt. We will use that time to build pipelines to the east and sell our oil and gas to Europe.
What people fail to understand is that - we will change our supply and distribution chains. In the meantime america will pay at least extra 25% on EVERYTHING
P.S. That is exactly why Trump JUST pulled out from his dumb tariffs idea. Just now
can Canada survive without the U.S. protecting it?
As the reporter noted, the president has provided no evidence to support his claim that a DEI program played a role in the accident. Moreover, all air traffic controllers must meet the same rigorous qualifications, making this insinuation highly unlikely.
A well-executed DEI program is not about racial quotas; it is about expanding the talent pool to attract highly qualified candidates who may have been overlooked due to systemic barriers. Rather than lowering standards, DEI initiatives promote a fair, merit-based selection process that strengthens the workforce.
México already has a deal going on, your move Canada.
You seem to be cheering it on, this is no way to treat your allies really is it! The US is turning into a global bully, why would you support this?
no. It's trump's move.
No@@John-jd8vx
No, it’s smaller economies move
Mexico's "deal" is supplying 10,000 troops to border and trump must stop the gusher flow of guns into Mexico. Mexico supplied 10 to 15k whoever Biden asked. Mexico won that deal😂😂😂
So far, pro-Tariffs 3 and anti-tariffs 0 … based on results.
Donald "Herbert Hoover" Trump.
The only way to get dramatic change is to compete better, lower the costs and increase the quality of your products.
You believe in capitalism and competition or you are the chief-oligarch and believe in brute power.
And when a nation puts limits on those items?
American here. Both Canada and Mexico should impose export duties on whatever goes to the US. We're pretty reliant on Canadian energy (both oil and electricity) and on Mexican produce. Prices of those should go through the roof. I live in New England; we use a lot of Quebequos hydropower, but fine - we deserve what we get with this orange clown. Also Canada had ought to put DEW up for renegotiation. Orange menace has been going on about better defense against Russian ICBMs. What does he need for that? And... Alaska's at least somewhat dependent on Canada. Time to restrict that?
We deserve a better economy and a stronger global presence. We are getting that. Hostages are coming home, disgusting amounts of money are being cut from the government budget. And our freeloading neighbors such as canada and mexico will have to do more then being a layover for the illegals streaming into our country.
Feels good to be winning. You should be proud of YOUR president.
So you’re against your own people?
@@SeanP7195 Yeah they are called the left here in the US. THey hate America and want it to fall. Why? Indoctrination and lack of education.
@SeanP7195 When we're in the wrong, sure. I'll suffer alongside. I won't be happy, but we need to f'ing straighten out.
If Trump really wanted to improve things in the US he would repudiate Mexico's current government, go after López Obrador and his cronies and demand fair elections supervised by the UN. This would make him look decisive compared to Biden and actually reduce migration to the US and drug traffic.
That’s the Mexican people’s job. We already had a repudiated government to deal with.
He campaigned China Tariffs were to be 100% and now cowardly went down to 10 per cent.
That’s not what happened at all. He already had heavy tariffs on China and the Biden administration was more than happy to keep them and that revenue stream.
Just keep calm and carry on, US needs the stuff they won't diminish their consumption for Trump, thats what they really need to do!?!
News get it wrong every time . Go Trump
Left wing media gets it wrong.
To completely change a system that's only truly benefitted one socioeconomic group but leaves the rest behind is wrong to keep going. The actual work to revamp a system will create some bumpier times initially. This is why all over consumption needs to halt! Save every cent for at least 2 years! No more wasteful spending! It will be very difficult as these policies begin to create change. Anybody who thinks change at this magnitude should be smooth and unnoticeable are idiots. You'd have to be very low on the IQ spectrum. It's going to be painful for at least 12-18 months. But it will be short-term in the overall timeline. This is where we must seriously look at our budgets to cut costs! We gotta lean on each other to learn how to grow vegetables, learn to diy more things than we have a knowledge base for, barter fora while. The tough times coming up will be worth for the generations coming behind us! This tough period should bring all true Americans together. I'm willing to put down my pride to join hands with other Americans to help one another through this tough upcoming period.
Hello 👋 pretty lady how are you doing today and the weather condition like?😊
LOL
Mexico CAVED. Update your video!
LOL
😂😂😂😂 the clown caved straight out facts😂😂😂😂
Tariffs won't hurt the Trumpster.
I’m guessing the title is meaningless now right? As in what tariffs? Mexico, Canada and soon China all are cutting deals to keep out of tariffs. Should make you think
Its already working , wake up
Columbia, Panama, and Mexico have agreed to Trump's request. Why does Canada refuse to deal with criminal immigration and the drug crisis?
Drug crisis is the problem of the USA, but that problem will soon be solved because of all the illegal drug dealers being deported.
I don't think tariffs has ever made friends with other nations, especially neighbor nations you'd think we'd want to create a friendlier policy with. The US has done much evil to Mexico in it's past along with other south American nations via coupes, assassinations of their good leaders, sanctions, military force, and tariffs.
Canada will not be its biggest trading partner much longer. Because of these tariffs coming out of nowhere, Canadians are going to search out Canadian products so we can be more self-sufficient and not have to buy from the US. That is what Donald Trump has accomplished.
Correction....the word of the day? Lunatic.
Elect a failed businessman and get failed economic policies. The "stable genius" launches Smoot-Hawley 2.0. Way to go, Donald! 😂😂😂😂
🇨🇦 We can handle Trump's stupidity and even his craziness, but we can't get over the dishonor. And, neither can the rest of the world.
WE WON.
Mexico caved.
WINNING is back!
Hello from Canada! The tariffs are significant to Trump, as a possible source of new US government financing, in advance of a huge upcoming tax cut for Billionaires and Millionaires. Once 'average' US citizens understand this, they will get to enjoy the higher costs on them to make it all possible. Trumps' Tax cut is behind all this (along with the enjoyment he gets from bullying and disruption).
They won't backfire on him. You only wish
You’re talking about him like he’s a reasonable person. Didn’t he pause the tariff on Mexico?
Yes they came to an agreement
Yes, she came up with a temporary solution. They all will. Most of these leftist governments are on shaky ground and can’t have one week of free cheese taken from their subjects without revolt.
Why? Because it can’t, won’t, and didn’t.
Matter of time till Mexico cuts US off from it's silver industry being the largest producer by far and main supply for the US and silver being a major critical resource.
You better check the news again, your leg and a little behind girl
Wait... he negotiated and he won. Short term for now, but its part of all negotiations.
🇺🇸 depended on imports too much , made more in our country .🎉
Canada and the US still have a free-trade agreement in effect. Trump wants to renegotiate this early. He can't.
Sure he can.
Thanks, Times Radio.
Also. We need our military at the border to to protect the border in case canada and or mexico goes brave and thinks they can take us.
Tariffs do not solve problems ever.
The tariffs were a trial run and also a quick bet for the oligarchs as to whether the markets woiuld fall. A fast buck.
Maybe it's not true but I heard Trump fired people who were a part of D.E.I. and that's why this chaos occurred.
This has absolutely nothing to do with that.
@@SeanP7195 This has nothing to do with what ? 🧐
@ how a trade war and removing DEI requirements have any connection.
@ Sorry, I wasn't saying that about the trade war I was referring to the plane crashes. which they referred to in this video. and which Trump blames on Biden's D.E.I.
He cave to Canada yet?
Nope haha
What is the end game of the tariff war?
To negotiate new prices apparently.
I expect Trump to tariff the EU 20% across the board with additional tariffs on German Autos, Spain, & Italy -- I would like to see Trump sanction Britain banks that are the World's largest money launderer of Russian Assets.

Wet dreams. Dicktator Trump is a grifter. He'll do anything for the highest bidder. As soon as he got money, he flipped on TikTok and meme coins.
Please do. You will get 3x worse in return, at least from the EU. One can say a lot about EU bureaucracy, but trade wars is something they do well, and EU organisations are not staffed by people that believe dinosaurs and people co-existed.
