Beautiful! Great horses you have, I can’t imagine that trail on horseback. I love the superstitions from afar, driving home they never look the same. Up close, it’s rough terrain.
Horse's are the ones feeling those rock-climbing trails. If, those horses could talk. like Mr. Ed. They would say...get the F off and lets go back to the barn. This ain't no fun at all...
I always liked trail riding but I'm cringing watching those poor horses trying to do the rocky footing. I hope you give them some kind of a massage after all that. I bet it was more fun for the humans than it was for the horses. Imagine carrying a person over all that for that long just for the human's amusement.
Our horses are accustomed to it. We ride enough that they stay in good condition, although this was Big John's first time in this kind of terrain. These rides were pretty tame, compared to what we usually do. And, in fact, the horses seem to enjoy the rides as much as we do.

Fun wandering with you. Great horses!
Why dont you get your partner a microphone? Nice trail fellows..Florida Flats
I AM the partner. My buddy was the one doing a lot of the videoing. We were just using our iphones. I really should invest in a pair of remote mics.

Horses love this stuff. They're not sissies! And they were not being ridden in a dangerous manner. Picking their own way is a good mental challenge.
