I was born in 62 and my parents (originally from Sicily) took me on my first trip to Italy in 1964. At the time, this song was very popular and my toddler self began to sing it frequently to the amusement of the adults around me! LOL

first heard this song in my dads records from the 50's. I liked it, and I always wondered what was sang. 15 years later I asked Spanish speakers, but they could not get all the words. One night while buying music I get the record and found the song was at one time popular. 50 years later, I still love this song

Doesn’t need to be a “è” after “Cos’ “ and “Dov’ “ in the end ?

Add this one (just for laughs) : th-cam.com/video/7Yj_N5_P5qI/w-d-xo.html (translate the speech, not the song because none is able to do that ;)
