Kiritsugu would've lost easily in the battle if Kiritsugu hadn't had avalon. And in stay night his strength is nearly as strong as Hassan, an actual servant. Rin is definitely one of the stronger masters in Zero/Stay Night, as she has lots of smarts and magic types with her gems (an example of her intelligence when she blows up berserker). Of course we all know the strongest master is Shinji :3

I love this scene, but the added music from the VN completely throws off the audio balancing. UBW is the one route I never read as I only went to find LPs of the VN after watching the anime, so I honestly think the scene works fine without the music.
