    Hello doctor - thank you for the video. I am using a hydroxyl generator/ also known as photocatalytic generator to clean my air. I tried all kinds of filters before I started using this technology and none helped. This machine helps me to live indoors without getting sick. I have been using it for 2 years and I feel fine -- great even. Some others express concern about the HO radical it produces causing harm. Do you know anything about this artificial generation of HO and how that does or does not effect the body?

      SURAJ KARANJE Thank you for liking my videos. I miss my white board too. I am currently placed out side the capital city for studying post graduation course on MD Pathology and my current city has slower internet service compared to Dhaka. So can't upload white board videos which were often larger than 2GB each. But internet service is gradually improving and may become same as the capital in a few months from now. I am also thinking of uploading whiteboard videos in segments and later join them using youtube video editor before publishing them from next month. Best wishes from Bangladesh. Real teddy will be back soon too :)

    How a cell dies having reestablishment of blood supply after having prolonged ischaemia by free radical mechanism??????

    • @RabiulHaque
      @RabiulHaque 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you for your question. Ischemia-reperfusion injury can occur in several mechanisms. One of the mechanisms is caused by free radicals (Oxidative Stress). When an area of ischemia is reperfused there may be increased generation of free radicals in the area. Why? Since the area was ischemic and suffered from cell injury previously, the mitochondria of the affected cells are already damaged. So they cause incomplete reduction of oxygen (which came after restoration of blood supply) and produce excess free radicals. As the area previously suffered from ischemia, antioxidant defense mechanism is also compromised. Some free radicals are also generated by action of oxidases in leukocytes & endothelial cells in the ishcemic area. Ultimately the excess free radicals cause oxidative stress and this results in death of cells after restoration of blood supply. Take care and stay blessed. :)

I have been very successfully at reversing these injuries in patient's extremely Injured by radiations and chemethewrapies.
