I find that the throw of the milwaukee gt tools beast beats me up a lot. Im not sure if the throw on a regular hackzall is the same? The Equalizer based tools have a real nice short throw so its very smooth.
This hack in comparison to a "true" windshield removal saw is it the same? Or because one is intentionally designed for windshields works better? Asking cuz i put a blade on a Sawzall and is brutal to handle so it doesn't really works.
Will this work on a m18 fuel hacksaw? I only ask because the (fuel) version top hat where the hackops sheath gets drilled and screwed, it actually swivels. It seems like if I use a fuel hacksaw with this it might cause the blades shaft rub too much do too the swivel head!
I’m having a hard time drilling into the flange on the hacksaw any tips?? We are using the same Milwaukee cobalt bits and they are brand new. Two guys push on the drill with it in a vice and can’t hardly even get a dent
I also have bought brand new cobalt drill bits and they would not drill do to poor quality bit. I hade to return it and get another one. Make sure when drilling to use oil and drill slow with a small bit then use a step bit after to achieve the right size. If the bit will not start a hole it is defective.
If you got two guys pushing on the drill, it’s very likely that you’ve made the flange twice a hard by putting that much heat into it. I would recommend using a center punch, then start with the smallest bit, after that it’s pretty easy on any bit
Dude I can’t get any bits I buy to go through this metal it’s insane idk what to do and I have 10 jobs tomorrow lol I already snapped a blade today cause I couldn’t get the hack ops on in time
I think the grey coating prevents the bits to work good. We use harbor freight’s Hercules 7/64 titanium bits or Home Depot has Milwaukee titanium drill bits then after that we use a step drill bit

Just finished my sheath install on my m18. You guys rock
Using Ryobi to work on a Milwaukie, that’s a new one! Why don’t you make these baseplates for Dewalt? Or for Ryobi for that matter?
Do they make one for dewalt????
Be nice if they made one for dewalt.
No sorry Milwaukee is the only one
What about repairing them when they stop working (not battery related) I need 1 of those videos
@@tabletoptony not sure if you could repair the M 18 tool after it stops working

And Equalizer is very expensive, once you get used to the throw of the Milwaukee forget about it.
Will be buying one next weekend, thanks for this video : )
Awesome thanks for supporting
How will the blade adapter connect to the hackzall? Whhen is is coming to market?
Selling on our website & Ebay now
Hello I wanted to know if you could install that on a Dewalt handsaw thank you
It’s close but I don’t think it will fit the base good enough to mount.
Why would you not use this wide blade on the sides and top of the glass and use the oscillating tool instead?

Seems to me like you may be new at removing windshields or doing auto glass for this type of question.
@CPRAutoGlass Yes i have little to no experience.
This adapter allows you to use auto glass blades in a Home Depot sawzall. Performance is just as well as the $800 auto glass sawzall.
Can I use it on milwaukee 2719-20 m 18?
Yes, but the only thing is the pivoting head. You may want to make it solid, so it doesn’t move.
@CPRAutoGlass thank you, I just ordered the blade and hackOPS adapter. I'll see what I can do to make the pivoting head solid
I bought an m28 sawzall and will the adapter work?
We’ve never tried it on that if it fits. You will have to make the pivoting head solid.
So the equalizer hydro blades naturally fit into the hacksaw itself of do you need to get a specific blade
Those fit right into the hackzall no modify

Correct it will move too much and you may have to find a way to make it stable
Thanks for the quick reply
I ypu were gonna order one blade which size would you get.
I usually buy the 3”x12” blade and grind the blade nice and sharp with a cutoff wheel
Hi! From Uruguay , can be use in a Dewalt ??
I have put one up to a Dewalt and it looks to be possible but there will be a little bit of modifications that need to be done
Protip: use rivets. Will never loosen on you.
Can use Milwaukee M18 Fuel 2719?
Only if you stop the pivoting head from moving

Same problem here. I’m trying to figure out the metal type on the new fuel hacksaw guard. The metal on the old hacksaws are softer.
Question. Can this work on the bigger Milwaukee sawzall?
No it’s designed for the M18 & M12 only
Dude I can’t get any bits I buy to go through this metal it’s insane idk what to do and I have 10 jobs tomorrow lol I already snapped a blade today cause I couldn’t get the hack ops on in time

Or I’ve heard of some people using mirror glue, and just gluing it. I’ve never tried it, though.
Where can I find the blade how long is there it?
You can use Equalizer Express blades or torpedo blades
