How do you get a single effect like Chorus ONLY, (so that it acts simple like a 2 dial stomp pedal)? Like what is the pure clean channel patch number to start with? Then how to access ONLY Chorus from there? I couldnt understand how you did it here, please someone explain. Also is there a Chorus setting that can get 'close' to the tone of a Boss CE-2?
If you want chorus effect only, turn off or disable all other modules like comp, amp, eq, delay, reverb etc. Use the left most knob to select module to enable/disable and to tweak If you're referring to stock/factory default patches, i cant remember which one is closest to transparent clean as factory patches have amp/drive sim toggled on.
@@kapetayobrew thanks. Now i just need to work out what patch number to store it on ...one that wont alter the beautiful tone of my Fender Princeton amp, and so i can add only chorus to this already amazing tone. Please let me know, if you find out which patch number (letter/number) i can store chorus to, which wont effect my amps tone.
@@gypsysteve3576 you can edit any patches from A0 to D9 , they have backup copies from 01 to 39 if i remember it correctly. I'm not.familiar with your amp, if it has fx loop,.you can place.zoom multifx there, to retain you amp voicing
@@kapetayobrew thsnks for the patch info. I may use 01 or A1 for Chorus, and 02 or A2 for a delay,. Then thats my pedal board complete. I have a Boss SD-1 Overdrive for 70s Rock, and a NUX Plexi Crunch for more heavier driven JCM800 type Drive. And with Ch & Dly patched into the Zoom, thatl make a 3 Pedal board ...thats plenty, and perfect ...thanks again ✌️

I think you might be able to tweak the chorus module to be as close to boss ce2.
Ch module of this zoom g2 has depth, rate and level.
