I find that Jerry is the one who never, but NEVER, holds his own in these fights. We might be talking about two different things. I'm speaking of Pam's always running him ragged and him bending to every demand she makes no matter how wild, and her disappearing without leaving a note, and her jumping out of bed every night to go do one more thing, like a kid with ADHD. I haven't finished watching this one, LOL. Sowwy. OK, done. Hey yeah, that was a great fight, and very unusual for the dainty Pam! Loved it.
Nameskhar Pam, a housewife? Never! She does some volunteering, shops for expensive clothes, and spends the rest of her time detecting. Definitely an upper crust NYC lifestyle. :D She's modeled on wealthy Nora Charles. We have seen 'em like Pam quite a lot. For instance besides The Thin Man, there was Agatha Christie's Tommy and Tuppence Beresford, Hart to Hart, McMillan and Wife....
@@653j521 These days she'd be a God-forbid "Real Housewife," except that she isn't repulsive, vile, tasteless and gross. I agree she's no housewife. I liked how she held her tongue and just kept her eyes open in this episode, seeing that Jerry was in over his head being way too nice.
not to be picky but the first shot of "Lake Placid" is probably Mirror Lake , the second shot could be but the third shot with the sail boats is definitely not. And to make it more confusing, the Village of Lake Placid is on the shore of Mirror Lake not on the shore of Lake Placid which is nearby.....
In old TV shows and movies they always knew what the cause of death was as soon as they found somebody dead, no matter how obscure and unusual the cause. Sure do like Pam best with longer, darker hair. That do in this ep. is Nancy Davis for one thing and ugly for another, with the three lumps, one on top and one on each side. All I know is, my mother had beauty and style and she never looked like that. Jerry had me on pins and needles standing up next to those snazzy sharp-pointed antlers on the wall to use the phone. One wrong twitch and he'd be stabbed through the head or eye.
Awe man I really wanted her to get away with the money. I’m so sick of this North couple always screwing shit up for the bad guys. I’m glad in real life the so called good guys don’t always win.
She shoulda left the Norths out of it instead of using Jerry like the idiot preschooler he seemed to be in this episode. (I still haven't got this whole thing watched. :9) )
This was a action-packed episode. I loved seeing Pam hold her own for once. Also, the banter was at an all-time high.
Thanks for sharing this series.
Hillary Brooke, John Hoyt and Lake Placid,NY....awesome....
"You're here to take care of me." I wouldn't say those words to anybody if Pam and Jerry had suddenly checked in next door!
That was just about the best cat fight I've ever seen.
One of the few tv couples back then to hint at having a love life.
News Note:
Betty played by Hillary Brooke was a Badass in this Episode.👏😉
Pam finally held her own in a fight love the show.
Thanks for watching! May the Sauce be with you.

Thank you!
Betty (Hillary Brooke) played in several Sherlock Holmes movies, with Basil Rathbone.
Ms. L. Churchill
The Norths ,everywhere they go tragedy happens. Like ,Murder She Wrote.
That is one attractive lady, Mrs. North.
The 50's house wife: They don't make 'em like "Pam" anymore.

Dollars floating down over the street would have been funnier. :)
Would depend on what street.
When they found the loose bedpost top why didnt they even LOOK in the other one? March 14, 2020
A shame there was no "chemistry" between the two - 'Mrs North' seemed always to skillfully avoid lip to lip kissing.
In old TV shows and movies they always knew what the cause of death was as soon as they found somebody dead, no matter how obscure and unusual the cause.

Elisabeth - My oh my, I'd sure like to meet your mind someday.
