This morning I listened to Romans it was wonderful to hear my favourite preacher talk on it so clearly straight after. Praying for the prayer requests, pastor Lawson and his family.

Pastor Lawson has a way of settling the dust, the confusion, and calmly presenting an understanding of clarity from a Biblical perspective. He separates the position of scripture from the political, the patriotic, and the worldly views that get muddled together so easily and subtly. I praise God for the years of work that Pastor Lawson has invested in teaching and preaching, rightly dividing the truth of God's word. His Wednesday night teaching are a favorite of mine over the last decade. Pray for him, brother and sister.

Please, please, please pray for my sister. I am begging anyone who prays. She had a liver transplant and is In Methodist in the medical center in Houston, TX. She came through the surgery but she can't move now at all for nearly a month. Her joints are locked up. Her muscles have atrophied. She can't even reach up To scratch her nose. She is so lonely and depressed. I go see her 3 times a week when I am off work but the gas and parking are so expensive. But I am so very worried about her. Please, pray that she gets her strength back. Pray that her kidneys start to work again. Please. I am so exhausted and she is feeling like she wants to give up. I read the Bible with her and pray with her. She is so broken in her spirit right now. I want to fast for a few days too. I am desperate for God to heal her. Thank you. Her name is Wendy.

I reject that preacher you had last weekend talking about tithes and making merchandise out of the flock.
Lawson be ye weary who you allow to go before the flock and preach
@@Mike-1127 Most “evangelists” make merchandise of God’s people. Most won’t come to a church unless they are guaranteed to receive a certain amount of money and then they also receive a “love offering” (which is often never counted and given directly to the preacher so it is never reported as income.) On top of that they are put up in a hotel and usually have a meal or meals prepared for them; all for being there one day and preaching two messages that they have preached over and over at other churches. Most evangelists establish a circuit they follow every year; they go to the same churches and preach the same messages. It’s a real racket. Thank God there are still some good ones but they are very few. The modern day evangelist is treated like royalty. Many of God’s people struggle from paycheck to paycheck while these men expect God’s people to give them piles of money for their “service”. God has allowed me to see very much behind the scenes in Baptist churches. I could write a book. What most are ignorant of I have witnessed with my own eyes. I could write a book! There was only one church out of the six where my wife and I were members that there wasn’t “the love of money” in the church leadership, and that was a Bible church. 3 of those churches no longer exist.
