    Amazing video. Absolutely great sound quality: both in terms of the bike sounding good and the recording of the bike is done properly.

    I had a wr200r. Fouled plugs about once a month riding every weekend and some days after work. A student in my tech school class at the time was actually a service manager at a local shop. He told me how to check the jetting, I swapped the main, pilot, and adjusted the needle as he told me. I could go a year and then swap the plug. I ran 108 race gas and klotz bean oil. I had installed a pro circuit pipe, boyesen reeds, answer roost boost, tsubaki oring chain. The bike would fly. It would leave my friends wr250r on the roads impressively. I guess the 6th gear. And make a friends kdx200 look very sad on the road. I would climb some insane hills and vert too. I never flipped backward hillclimbing. I will say it could have had a better pair of forks but they sufficed. Should have never let it go.

    • @Ch4llenger440

      Its a stock bike. Just the pipe and the engine in good condition.
      Had boyesen reeds but they dont do much. Stiffer front springs is a must for me in this bike('89 YZ125/250 springs).
      Running a bit leaner than OEM jets.
      Slightly ported cylinder, just a basic flush.
      FMF pipe adds the most.

    • @Ch4llenger440

      You dont need any mods except FMF exhaust and engine after high quality rebuild, then correct jetting. New rear MX tire helps with that aggresive style too.

    • @Gonche83

      @Ch4llenger440 thanks for the info! Hi, I'm interested in the engine, is everything original and the gas carburetor, the revolutions are beyond the limits of a WR 200, since I also have one like that?

    • @Ch4llenger440

      @@Gonche83 Engine has thinner cylinder base gasket, ports flow and basic porting without touching the ports timing. Used to run boyesen reeds but now Im back to oem reeds. Most important thing is a high quality bore and sleeve with perfect ports match if youre running on a sleeve. If you have nicasil in your WR then it shoulk be in perfect condition, correct piston size and clearence is a key. Im using Wossner con rods, pistons and running on a sleeve. Currently running 180 main jet, which is 30 down from original 210 jet on OEM Mikuni 30mm carb. It works well for my location.

    • @Ch4llenger440

      @@Gonche83 Ive been into these DT/WR bikes and building engines for 10 years so its simple for me at this point. After messing around with the base gasket and after engine rebuild you should always check the squish, in these engines I try to aim at 1.5mm.
      I could show you the porting at the base of cylinder which I have, but its not possible to post pics here, its really simple just smoothing out everything at the bottom for better flow.
      Really a well put together engine is a key and all the other advancements are just small extras.
