Imagine this: *(Narrator)* There is a boy in highschool who has a singing competition and his dad, whos in the military got begged by his son to come to the event. He really wanted to go since whoever won got a scholarship to a really good college. *(Boy)* The day came, he was really nervous as he looked through the curtain to see all of the people taking their seats after their break. But the one person he didn't see..was his father. (a few minutes later) It was his turn next, he still didn't see his dad anywhere. He had started to lose hope that he would show up. *(Narrator)* He chose this song so his dad would be surprised by his favorite song he always used to sing to the boy before he left. *(Boy)* He walked onto the stage, still looking into the crowd for his father. He sighed as he had no hope for his dad to turn up. (play the song while reading if you want) The music began and he started singing, heart beating a bit fast, as he was nervous to sing infront of that many people. *(Dad)* He started his car and got out of the driveway, immediately almost racing down all roads and highways. He didn't have much time and he thought he was too late and had already missed his sons performance. *(Boy)* A couple of verses later his eyes started to form a few tears. He really missed his dad, and singing his favorite song didn't help with the sadness. The best part of the song eventually came. He let his tears run down his cheeks but continued singing. *(Dad)* He drove like hell through the traffic. He really needed to see his son. This was the day he and his son had waited for to see each other again after what feels like forever. His son was his best friend. He missed his wife dearly as well. *(Boy)* He wanted to see his dad, he didn't really care if he lost or if his dad missed the song. (less than a minute later) *(Dad)* He finally got to the school and the school's parking lot was packed and there were no spaces because of all the other parents, relatives, or friends that were there. He parked a street away and ran all the way inside. Exhausted, he sat down in the front (it was near the right of the stage?? idk if that makes sense) *(Boy)* He extended the song a bit because it may have bought him some time.
*(Narrator)* The song ended after a bit and he almost ran backstage but something caught his attention. *(Boy)* He heard a whistle to the right of the stage, he looked because it sounded familiar. He froze for a second at the thought he was hallucinating but then the "hallucination" waved at him. He ran down the stage and went to hug his dad. *(Narrator)* There was still music playing faintly in the background. They both (obviously) cried and even some other people got a bit emotional at the sight of the beautiful moment. Then the principal and counselor came down and gave them an envelope saying that they won, and the boy got an application to ##### college. After that they left and went home to see his wife/mom. She was so happy to see him again. Happy ending! Should I do a Sad ending?- Also I don't know if this makes any sense but this is just story logic.
