I’m a Vietnam combat veteran, US Marines, the Blues keeps me alive. I get so depressed and when I do, I listen to the Blues. I let my mind go blank and it soothes my soul. Sipping on some Jack helps a little too.
The VA has a lot of help available. Depression can be rated as a disability.

It's 60° out tonight and I'm in my bathrobe sitting on the patio with a cold bottle of white wine, sipping away by candle light. My stress and worries have melted away and I drift away to another world for a short time and I feel great. You have to sip wine or whiskey when listening to the blues, it just calms you and you can appreciate the talent as well.
