I want to say thank you for showing such a realistic view of motherhood. I have a 2.5 year old son, and honestly I find being a mum so much harder than I anticipated it to be. Don’t get me wrong, being a mum is the best thing to have ever happened to me and I’ve never had so much purpose, but being bombarded with romantic ideas of motherhood on social media doesn’t help me to make it feel like it’s any easier. Your content is so relatable, and honestly makes me feel a lot less lonely as a SAHM ❤

Your talk about the pressures of having to have activities planned, interact and be right next to your little ones at all times is a massive O M G Y E S!!!
It took me a while to realise this but, when I think back, of course I remember spending time with my parents but I also remember time spent playing at home and, God forbid, alone, while my Mum was busy doing whatever she needed to.
No wonder so many women find motherhood so impossible when we're lead to believe that we can't just crack on with our day and give our little ones a chance to figure out how to entertain themselves.
This is a game changer. YES SHAN. 😂

George will calm down once he starts school. You are amazing and such a lovely, pretty very patient mummy. If only all children could have a mummy like you. ❤

I feel so guilty for not playing with my son enough even though I'm a full time mam and whenever I'm busy I'm doing stuff for him anyway like prepping food or packing his bag. I constantly see comments saying to enjoy them while they're young and the chores can wait but our parents definitely didn't play with us non-stop and definitely did housework. No wonder we struggle to get it all done when we dont have any time because we're busy with plans and playing haha x

My son is 20 months old, and it's already not fun dressing him... And I can't wait for him to be potty trained, as nappy changes also aren't fun 🤦🏻‍♀️😂
My son has always watched TV... Whenever he's home it's on (he goes to daycare full time during the week).
I'm a single mom and some days that's the only way I stay sane.. I've never felt bad about it, regardless of who says what.
He is however very busy and doesn't watch it the whole time, and still wants all my attention 😂

Really recommend letting them pick their outfits for the next day as part of the bedtime routine, was a game changer for us ! Although now we have the clothes down but she likes to get mummy to do it and then changes her mind halfway through and shouts daddy to do it and back and forth 🫠
