Hi Jon, excellent demo and review! Work Tuff has been turning out some awesome knives, and I like that Work Tuff is a family-owned business and are made in Taiwan (not China). That really is a great knife!
The big knives are fun but the smaller ones are whats practical. 95% of what I sell are between 6-8" OAL general purpose knives, and thats because theyre useful and functional in pretty much every application.
About 25 year's ago I went to a show in the U.K. at Weston Park. In the knife makers tent there were a number of Nordic knife makers & thier advice was you only need a knife with a blade thats the same lengtth as your forfinger. This will be ideal for most of your knife work ,including dressing out game ect,ect.. Also carry a hand axe for heavy cutting & wood craft.
Wow, thought that was a William Collin’s design. My favourite small wilderness blade at the moment is the TOPS Holladay designed THE SONORAN. Cool knife, good to see Work Tuff isn’t just making Predator/Apocalypse knives.
