This is a sad and beautiful series. The acting between Park Bo Gum and So-In Guk is full of chemistry and so much unspoken but relayed in their actions with Park Bo-Gum character becoming the younger brother again despite all the previous cruelty in his life. It's a degfinte one to watch.
The breadth and depth of Park Bogum's acting here was so good that he won Best Supporting Actor at the age of 22. He has great control and mastery of the micro expressions on his face and even in the absence of words his eyes literally speaks that makes his portrayal riveting. Just amazing...

I finished watching the drama today as i got on the search of old family crime series and decided to see it again and it never fails to bring the same emotions as the first time i saw it. Both of them delivered amazing chemistry towards each other as real brothers.
Park Bo Gum's acting here is impeccable. The small nuances that his face is giving is just right for the what the characters sitauation is asking for. It always make me believe in him. Greaaaattt acting. Seo In Guk and Jang Na Ra were also good. DO is creepy and delivered great acting as well
Park Bo Gum won an award for this movie. I found Seo In Guk's performance more than excellent and deserving of an award. His emotions were so aligned with the character he was portraying at different stages of the movie. The best part was when Seo In Guk opened that envelope and confirmed that his missing brother was indeed Atty Jeong (Park Bo Gum). In that very scene, you will truly feel the emotions he was going through - disbelief, denial, regret, sadness. I love both of them - Park Bo Gum and Seo In Guk.

Hyun (older brother) had a selective amnesia, so to speak and had a hard time looking for Min (baby brother) who got lost when they were still young. A must watch series, hats off!

I can't get over this Kdrama. This is the second time watching it and i believe this is not going to be the last. It's a story of how the younget brother loves his hyung. I can't stop crying when Park Bo Gum said "I hated you for 20 yrs. I've watched you. I missed you. The entirety of of 20 yrs is you." The lines were so heart felt! The OST also adds up to the emotion the drama wants to convey. This is definitely one of my favorites"

I really like this movie "Hello monster" (or "I remember you) I cant forget how lovely the movie is and my favorite line there is the line of the killer "When u are born beautiful, people will see u beautiful, and u will grow up beautiful. when u are born stupid, people will see u stupid and call u stupid and so u will grow stupid. when u are born a monster, people will call u monster and u will become a monster". And that is the tragic moment in the life of the killer, he became a victim of people mockery and he grew up a monster in his soul. Truth is, I feel sympathy more of, to the killer. but both brother encounter this killer, and the story goes on. Try to watch it :)
The direction in this drama is top notch, yes the director is working with elite actors but still some credit to the direction is not amiss…infact the whole drama is a masterclass in drama production. Well done to everyone involved watched cos of Kim Jae young fell in love with Soe In Guk he is one of the most expressive actors l have far seen in kd flawless execution of his roles.

И вдобавок ко всему замечательные вокальные данные. И тогда, и сейчас к нему предвзятое отношение. Многие пишут, что корейские фанаты хейтят его из- за армии. А разве вина человека в том что есть какой-то недуг. Да, он не отслужил. Но хуже он от этого не стал. Я считаю, что Со Ин Гук гордость Кореи. Ничего не имею против Пак Бо Гома. Но Со Ин Гук милее.
Saw this on Viki when I first started getting into kdramas and kpop back in 2015, read the synopsis and thought it was boring. Five years later, i finally gave the show a chance due to a serious case of Bogum fever (after finishing reply) and wow I really regret not watching this back then. This is a great drama, give it a chance!
Wow we Park Bogum is truly a fantastic actor. I saw part of this series I was impressed. I have got to find out how I could see more. God bless this actor. My idol can sing and act but, Bo-Gum puts circles around him.

I really like this movie "Hello monster" (or "I remember you) I cant forget how lovely the movie is and my favorite line there is the line of the killer "When u are born beautiful, people will see u beautiful, and u will grow up beautiful. when u are born stupid, people will see u stupid and call u stupid and so u will grow stupid. when u are born a monster, people will call u monster and u will become a monster". And that is the tragic moment in the life of the killer, he became a victim of people mockery and he grew up a monster in his soul. Truth is, I feel sympathy more of, to the killer. but both brother encounter this killer, and the story goes on. Try to watch it :)

This is the drama where I fell in love with Park Bo Gum. His acting touched me💕💕
The direction in this drama is top notch, yes the director is working with elite actors but still some credit to the direction is not amiss…infact the whole drama is a masterclass in drama production. Well done to everyone involved watched cos of Kim Jae young fell in love with Soe In Guk he is one of the most expressive actors l have far seen in kd flawless execution of his roles.
It makes me cry everytime Im listening to this sad song .. it leaves a scar in my heart 😞 .. such a heartbreaking story specially of the two brothers 😭😭💔 but great acting of two great actors. Perfect drama movie .. really unforgettable .. 👍🏼👍🏼

Просматриваоа этот ролик несколько раз в разное время. Очень благодарна за хорошие отзывы о Со Ин Гуке. Он мой самый любимый корейский актер. Как можно не видеть его удивительную красоту. Эти прекрасные глаза. Кто- то написал косые. Они придают шарм его взгляду, манят. А какой он актер! Превосходно играет разноплановые роли, нигде не повторяется. И вдобавок ко всему замечательные вокальные данные. И тогда, и сейчас к нему предвзятое отношение. Многие пишут, что корейские фанаты хейтят его из- за армии. А разве вина человека в том что есть какой-то недуг. Да, он не отслужил. Но хуже он от этого не стал. Я считаю, что Со Ин Гук гордость Кореи. Ничего не имею против Пак Бо Гома. Но Со Ин Гук милее.
Saw this on Viki when I first started getting into kdramas and kpop back in 2015, read the synopsis and thought it was boring. Five years later, i finally gave the show a chance due to a serious case of Bogum fever (after finishing reply) and wow I really regret not watching this back then. This is a great drama, give it a chance!

I really love this. The love between two brothers were really amazing and outrageous. At first,. I had a second thought because of genre... A sort of violence or psychotic thingy.... But after I watch the first episode I was hooked to finish it.... Brothers love at its finest is totally outstanding... PARK BO GUM AND SEO IN GUK MAKES ME CRY.
