Prayers to your wife. Hope shes ok. May the Lord be with you and her and the family. I been using braided leaders for my carp rigs but over time it gets fringed and i take it apart and make new one. I really like the braid for sure.
Glad u got your braid out. One time I lost a few flying C spinners at the river. Next day came with thicker line and yanked a couple of them out from the snag. 6lb test! Be careful haha keep that drag set perfectly
Mystery Mike I would take off all of your old line. Put a piece of electrical tape around the spool and spoil on all braid. The tape is to keep the braid from slipping. THEN for a leader use flouro or mono. I don’t even use a swivel when bass fishing, I use the same blood knot u did but just main line to my flouro leader. I notice braid doesn’t have line twist so I use it for my main line always. I tie a clear leader OR a weight and swivel with a clear leader. I love blood knots

Yeah it's nice when you get your stuff back. The 6lb test was tangling up too much on me I want to try a different brand of string.
