Great Video, some nice features in your new home. At 08:40 you talk about the narrow shelf in your kitchen. I had an idea but you might have to check it first with your landlord. You could buy a piece of furniture board the length of the existing shelf and about double the width (or as wide as possible without any doors getting in the way). This will give you a wider shelf with an overhang. The tricky part will be finding a way to fix it that the landlord will be happy with. You could wood glue it down on top of the original, fix it into the wall like a floating shelf and on top of the old one, or fix some sort of brackets to the wall that are just above the old shelf and slide the new shelf under them. Hope you all enjoy your new home.
