From this episode, it can "feel like" dreams dont accompany the lives of the "typical" Christian but only those with a "greater calling" on their lives that God has a more purposeful and profound "destiny" on their lives. It can actually leave me feeling quite left out and insignificant.
Hello Remnant Radio, could you guys suggest a biblical book on dream interpretation and symbology? Most of the stuff out there is unbiblical and new-agey.
@John, one ought to command the manner you carry yourself for the sake of integrity !!! Watching this highlighted how anchored and focused you are, mostly how you value the ABBA's plan for your life for the advancement of the Kingdom of GOD. @Jeff, that was a clean line; "We growing by the day, just like the early church" :))))) loved it Just discovered the show and will check some of the other talks, love the concept. Keep up the good work for the equipping of the saints. Remain blessed!!! From Jhb South Africa
I had a dream I was in prison preaching to a turkey. Does this mean I will one day be a missionary to Turkey and be locked up for preaching the gospel??!
Hey Josh, I have watched a few videos of yours and have enjoyed your discourse a lot. I really appreciate the thoughtful charismatic theology which you seemingly have, from what I've witnessed so far. I was wondering if you would be interested in addressing the idea of "Secondary Separation" at some point, maybe even in discussion format with Mike Winger? This is causing a great deal of distress to me because scripture seemingly supports it but embracing it to the fullest extent of what the Bible seems to teach would cause the need to cut off or not recommend many of the teachers that I have learned a great deal from. I'm guessing you have learned from these same teachers as well. For instance, William Lane Craig has failed to rebuke Catholicism for their distorted Gospel, seeming embracing it as Mere Christianity in a number of his interactions with Catholics and/or questions about Catholics. This, according to some, would mean that he is therefore guilty in sharing of the promotion of a false Gospel. Mike Winger has endorsed William Lane Craig as a reputable teacher which therefore would mean that he is sharing in the same promotion of a false Gospel, and so on. The idea framed above does not sit well with me because I have learned more about the gospel and grown in my knowledge and love for Christ immensely due to both of these men but at the same time, if they were to not accept rebuke on these things, I can't think of a way that I could continue to recommend their ministries... And I just have a really hard time with that. I hate the idea of it and I pray that I'm wrong. Servus Christi frames the argument from scripture here: th-cam.com/video/hT9aQyl7p-8/w-d-xo.html. I will be going through his video again to make notes and study what I can so if you need individual verse references, let me know.
I can honestly say I have never heard of "Secondary Separation". However, I would like to look into this and give a ballanced response. Thank you for bringing it to my attention.
Thank you for taking the time to read and respond. I've made a similar comment on one of Mike's videos to see if he has had anything planned on addressing it. I'll keep you updated if I hear back.
Around the 11 minute mark, he talks about the story of Joseph interpreting dreams. He says that Joseph‘s entire family understood the dream, but this is untrue. Joseph tells his family about the dreams that he had and ONLY his father Jacob ponders further about their application. Even he is displeased at hearing them initially.
Janet Canepa “Now Joseph had a dream, and when he told it to his brothers they hated him even more. He said to them, “Hear this dream that I have dreamed: Behold, we were binding sheaves in the field, and behold, my sheaf arose and stood upright. And behold, your sheaves gathered around it and bowed down to my sheaf.” His brothers said to him, “Are you indeed to reign over us? Or are you indeed to rule over us?” So they hated him even more for his dreams and for his words.” Genesis 37:5-8 ESV
Janet Canepa “Then he dreamed another dream and told it to his brothers and said, “Behold, I have dreamed another dream. Behold, the sun, the moon, and eleven stars were bowing down to me.” But when he told it to his father and to his brothers, his father rebuked him and said to him, “What is this dream that you have dreamed? Shall I and your mother and your brothers indeed come to bow ourselves to the ground before you?” And his brothers were jealous of him, but his father kept the saying in mind.” Genesis 37:9-11 ESV The plan interpretation was as plain as it was before. Just as the brothers discerned that the wheat was them bowing down before Joseph, The whole family also discerned at the stars and the moon were representative of the family.
The Remnant Radio That’s the passage that I was referring to as well. His brothers are mocking him and his father even rebuked him, but kept the thought in mind. I still don’t see where in that text it explains the brothers discernment. They rejected it, did they not?
Hope this helps: Mt 15:3-6: 3 He answered and said to them, “Why do you also transgress the commandment of God because of your tradition? 4 For God commanded, saying, ‘Honor your father and your mother’; and, ‘He who curses father or mother, let him be put to death.’ 5 But you say, ‘Whoever says to his father or mother, “Whatever profit you might have received from me is a gift to God ”- 6 then he need not honor his father or mother.’ Thus you have made the commandment of God of no effect by your tradition. Mr 7:6-9: 6 He answered and said to them, “Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written: ‘This people honors Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me. 7 And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the comma ndments of men.’ 8 For laying aside the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men -the washing of pitchers and cups, and many other such things you do.” 9 He said to them, “ All too well you reject the commandment of God, that you may keep your tradition. Col 2:8: 8 Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ.
Lol this is Pentecostal double talk. Example"we want sound theology" then they give examples that are not sound and conjecture. Also they never answer Josh's questions but talk in circles until you forget the question.

You guys are in serious error. No on in Bible history has ever had a question on the message of a dream, No one has ever tried to decifer the meaning by breaking it donw into smaller pieces to reach a conclusion. All dreams in the Bible has been clear either by G-d giving the meaning or by the hearing knowing what it meant......you guys are running after the wind here. Once you start relying that a dream could have come from G-d and you must find its interpretation, know then, that is was not from G-d. If you have to wonder, it was not from G-d. If you still dont know the meaning even after praying, it was not from G-d, If you have to try and analyze and exegesis a dream, please know IT WAS NOT FROM G-D......no where in scripture does it teach we must exegesis and analyze a dream to decifer its meaning, You are all deceived and your whole conversation is lacking is biblical knowledge of G-d and how he works.
Unlike any other time, so many people are taking their every day dreams while sleeping, and trying to make them all spiritual.... trying to spiritualize every dream. I, for the most part, have at least one dream a night, and usually two or three, And I never felt the need To try to interpret them, to try and make them some sort of vision from God. It's much like all these so-called prophets right now that are saying… Thus sayith the Lord. I think many of these people are in dangerous territory....I'm not saying they're not saved, but many times they are leading many Christians astray (Especially baby Christians that do not know any different, and that's why the Bible tells us to test the spirits, be careful)
@@timgreen1835 These things are occurring mostly among new Christians that have no learning in scripture but also has been influenced by the prosperity Gospel and many charismatic churches. Instead of focusing on scripture, they focused of external personal experiences. Guys like these on this video only promotes these behaviors while falsely validating these experiences as real from G-d. They are dangerous to the church. I have searched this guy John Thomas online and he is no real Christian. He promotes spiritual experiences and seem more like a spiritual channelisl. Bottom line is, his discussions promotes doctrines and practices that are not biblical. Because he is young and sounds like a true Christian, many young people will follow him into pure error. However, those that follow him, have no interest in being corrected because that is what they want to experience. They want the LSD experiences without the LSD drugs. They want the hippie experience without being an actual hippie, if that makes sense.
