- DIY Animal Friendly Pet Carrier Bags
In today's video I want to show you how to transform regular backpack into a super cool pet carrier backpack with huge window and a lot of holes for breathing! So, your pet will know what's going on outside. Also you will learn how to make carrier bag for smaller pets such as rat or hamster. As result - happy pets and happy owners :)

I made my own pet carrier for my 8 week old kitten because I currently can't leave her at home (crazy roomie who is moving out in two days) until my new roommate moves in. I went to Goodwill and bought a bag, washed it several times, and then cut it up. But the bag is much larger, and there is way more ventilation. While it's bulkier it has room for a large water bottle on the side and my kitten has no problem hopping right in (she sleeps in it sometimes at home). I even brought her to the pride festival, and she was fine (I had plenty of water and food for her, and she LOVES attention -she's an attention hog-) If you do this PLEASE do your research. Make sure the bag is big enough and take other things into account, like how will I carry food and water, etc. Make sure there is PLENTY of ventilation. I'm not going to trash this video but I will say, they do look a little cramped and the ventilation holes should probably be slightly larger . There's nothing wrong with wanting to bring your pet whenever you go but please make sure they are comfortable and safe.
Great idea for an emergency evacuation backpack/chestpack! I've been looking for something very sturdy and haven't seen anything I could trust, with this I can purchase a heavy duty, large backpack to convert. Good job!!
I feel like the bag would work but only for smaller cats, like kittens, so that they arent stuffed... I could be wrong tho

It can because can you see the little holes in the backpack
Not really. There are airholes, but the rat is in there really tight and it probably gets really hot in there.

This is a brilliant idea been looking for a rucksack carrier for my guinipig so I can pull my luggage trolley but could not find the right one this gives me ideas of course I will change it more suitable for a piggy but thanx for video

It's better if u teach us how to make a pet cage so baby/medium pets won't escape and it has space ;3
*How to actually make a pet carrier*
-Make a spacious area (one they can stand on) and make sure it has plenty holes so it can breath and not overheat (or add a cooler to the box if possible)
-To prevent it stressing out make it seem like a home environment and make sure they can see where they are going don’t make it all see thru but they need to be aware
-Finally test it and see if your animal likes it (5 minutes maximum time) if it doesn’t try to make it as nice as possible
I’m not getting into itty bitty details I’m not an expert in this stuff but that’s the basics
Edit: forgot to say this DO NOT USE A MATERIAL THAT ABSORBS HEAT that could damage their skin by burning it so that means DO NOT USE BACKPACKS they can and will absorb heat

I think this video just show us an idea to pick your pets to travel with you, but if you really do it as she did, it will cost more as some friends said and just use glue, I don't think it will be safe for our pets,but thank you for your video, it's great .
@Maddison King Hi Maddison King, thank you for reminding me that it is hot glue. I am a pets carrier factory in Chin. As said before, this is a great video, just show us a method to travel with our pets and make hands free. But even hot glue is still not strong enough, you know not all of our pets willing to stay at a carrier, so in this condition, don't think that is a good way. About cost, let us ignore the used bag, we are a pet products supplier in China (www.myalipet.com), that Transparent space cover which has shown on that video will cost a lot and not all of our family can find that in our home. Let me explain
The animal you have confined in a small area could have lots of stress especially if the transportation mode isn’t stable lots of stress could lead to possible death
Another thing they could get worried in a small space (claustrophobia) which cause more stress inside of cages/houses they have been in for years which then leads to even more stress which yes leads to death hopefully you don’t do this to ur animal I left a comment and how to properly do one

I don’t know about rats, but in general, cats are not comfortable with strangers, especially rescues. Plus they are not getting enough air and definitely not getting exercise. So even though you probably meant well, this is not an ideal way to take your cat or rat out for a walk.
Rats are social are social and need space to move a breathe.

Yeah. I really want a way to get my cat outdoors as she meows whenever my dog goes outside, but she dislikes having a leash and almost got herself run over. Idk how to help her

It is, these pets like small spaces, she made breathing holes for these animals to get enough oxygen.

Jessica chiffers so that your not carrying a flippin cat where ever you go btw this is smart because my cat hates being carried when he would rather do something else so you know what he does he bites so um imagine this you had to bring your cat somewhere (btw it hate like the cages you would use to say go to the vet :/ ) and your cat makes loud noises to put it lightly when you do so but you cat love bags would you rather have a quiet cat or a cat that sounds like you touring it.
