I'm so glad you're better, Sam! Watching a firefighter TV show while in the grip of a fever sounds somehow appropriate. Life can knock us down in so many sudden and unpleasant ways, but this flu sounds like a doozy. You are correct that a podcast every Friday would be very time consuming, but perhaps a monthly one along the lines you were describing would work. I'd watch it, anyway. As a big First Law fan, I'm glad to hear you're enjoying it so far. The plot will become clearer as you progress through the trilogy, but I think of The Blade Itself as being primarily an introduction to the characters, much like (as you said) Hobb taking her time at the beginning of every Realm of the Elderlings book. Happy reading, and best wishes to you and your family for good health!
Laura got me a signed copy of The Left Hand of Darkness for Christmas and it's now my most treasured possession
Not Fang?!
Fang owns us
I'm glad you're feeling better. That's never fun to be sick over Christmas.
I got a version of Sanditon from my husband. It's Jane Austen's unfinished novel that was finished by Juliet Shapiro. I really liked the TV show on PBS (not sure where it aired in the UK). I thought it would be interesting to see how others thought it should end.
I also got a giftcard for Barnes and Noble and was thinking of buying The Shadow of What Was Lost, as well.
That sounds like a great gift! I’m not sure when I’ll read Shadow of What Was Lost but I love the cover lol
Glad your feeling better and yes you have more than enough time to catch up and probably finish before me! 😂 Though if you do read all of that and finish WoT 10 before me then I will have to start using audiobooks!
I think you’ll finish before me again as I’ve still not started 🫣
I was staring at doorknob sam the whole time instead of couch sam and I don't know why
Uh oh you’ve been hypnotised
Hahahahahaha
I’m still Reading the non-fiction book that I picked up the beginning of last year
Non fiction is just less exciting than books about wizards with guns
I'm glad you are feeling better. Sounds like it was rough. I received Murtagh: Deluxe Edition and some of the High Republic Star Wars books for the holidays.
I need to read the Eragon books, never did when I was a kid and feel like I missed out.
@@SamHarrison2099 It's a great series.
