I don’t think that Nin would be happy in the States, maybe at first but not in the long run. She would miss the whole Thai culture where in her shop she is the Queen, in the US, she would just be another face lost in the crowd.

Honestly if you live in Thaitown in LA it's not that different from a Bangkok suburb. Of course if instead I took her to some frozen wasteland in the Midwest with zero Thai people in a 100 mile radius, well I'm going to (and did) run from there myself faster than she ever could like it was infested with brain eating zombies.

I've been going to Pattaya for 5 years and just using random barbers, in the last 3 weeks i went to Nin's twice after watching your videos. Had my haircut by a couple of the other ladies in this video but was a friendly and popular barber shop. On the first visit there was a minor incident on Soi Buakhao between a motorbike taxi and a farang which got a lot of interest from everyone in the shop for a while.
Chronologically it seems like this is the last Nin video? The conversation is kind of sad when she says she afraid she’ll be forgotten and Jason says don’t worry he’ll be back etc, then covid hit... Hopefully the world goes back to some kind of normal soon.
