I think "beef" is the only prison slang we use in everyday society. I don't know if it originated in prison, but when I was in high school a decade ago, we use to say "Yo, who you beefin' with?" or "You got some beef with me?"

I f'd up when I was younger and it cost me 15 years of my life. Love the explanation of the difference between an inmate and a convict. Think those are universal in every prison in the US. I was lucky enough to get that advice from a guy I met in the county and it was spot on. Show respect and don't take any disrespect from anyone. Sound advice, good stuff man.

You sound like someone trying to emulate what their idea of tough is, and acting that way on a format where no one knows what you look or sound like.
Truly tough and strong guys, do not need to say they are tough or strong.
What would you do if someone picked a fight with you? You would no doubt start monologuing about how you once beat up a hundred men without breaking a sweat; because that's just how tough you are.
You would laugh as you say "You really don't want to do this; It'll only end in pain for you Beta".
Do you know how strong and tough people act? If the threat is real, they don't waste time talking or laughing; they act. They don't wait for someone to throw the first punch so they can feel justified in fighting them, so they can plead self defence later.
They do not wait, they do not monologue.
They strike, and don't act like a tough guy on the internet; because they don't have to.
Those who are strong kniw they are strong; what use is it telling others they are strong.

I think that, if even one person makes the right decision and stays out of trouble from what you're doing here, that really does benefit all of us.

It's strange to me that acid is popular in prison. I guess I can see both sides and that a psychedelic could help to provide a mental escape beyond the walls. At the same time, being in a loud, potentially violent place doesn't seem like a comfortable place to take a psychedelic. I can imagine it's very easy in that environment to have a bad trip!

You’d probably set it up so that you’d do it at a good time. It’s not 24/7 violence and insanity, but yeah if some shit popped off that would absolutely suck.

The way I learned it was,
A shiv is an improvised weapon made from whatever you can scavenge, while a shank is any object that can be used to stab someone, for example, a pencil or a piece of glass. So all shivs are shanks but not all shanks are shivs.

I heard the terms "Dippin' in the Kool-Aid" and "Quit dippin'" in high school. It was the street way for saying "mind your own business", just as it was described here. I haven't heard anyone say it in years though. I assumed it was just old slang, like "Knockin' boots". Nobody says that anymore either.

Heard that a lot when I was in the county jail. Funny story. I actually found your channel back in February when I was in a lot of trouble with the law. Had just gotten out of a week long stint in the county jail. Your videos put a lot of stuff into perspective for me, and I've been living crime free ever since.

I spent time in Detroit detention center and Toronto south and hooping is more Canadian. I lucked out getting arrested in the USA being Canadian because there were so many mistakes made in the transfer no one wanted a part of me. I have respect for your channel and it helps me deal with the memories. I was 14 tried and convicted as an adult, put with lifers. Scary shit! Thanks bro
