So as an Italian I feel the need to tell you how bocce works. So it's kind of like curling. Basically someone throws the small ball, and each team has 4 balls, each team throws the balls and whoever gets the closet gets the points. 1 point for each ball. When a ball is close to the smaller ball the team that isn't close gets the chance to throw and get closer or knock the other team away. If the team is just going they get 4 chances to get closer than the other team. If they do the other team goes, if all your chances are gone than the other team goes as well. If anybody wants to explain better if I got stuff wrong then correct away
