Idk if it’s just me but Hobie stealing all that tech to make the watch while still acting chill so no one takes him seriously is pretty cool. Like, it’s his way of showing the typical ‘Spider-Man intelligence’ that I’ve seen most versions of him have. like they’re all crazy smart and hobie is too but he’s cool smart maybe I’m reading too much into it 🤷
The funny thing is he's so aggressively "RAWR, I'm such a rebel lol" that it makes him come off as a toothless wannabe playing at being an anarchist. Because of that he's able to fly under the radar while he steals tech and undermines Miguel from the inside.
The scene of them walking down the hall is so good because the whole damn time Hobie is preparing this man Miles for what's about to happen, but he's so smooth about it that it doesn't seem like he's doign anything out of the ordinary. Or like he's just saying shit to agitate Miles, meanwhile what he's really doing is provoking change in him.
I adore him, i just want to hug him, he is the best : smart, nice,sarcastic, insightful, wise and he take no one crap. I like the way he help Miles but so subtly. He is a real menace. Si awesome.

Everything he does he does so quickly that I have trouble catching all of it. Only just now realized that he was prompting Miles to take his palm advice after Miles gets trapped. Truly start to finish every move he made was perfect. Can't wait to see him in the sequel.
