The lack of any post-crash fire is troubling in that generally, when I'm taking off in IFR conditions (and with an IFR flight plan filed) I take off with full tanks. When you look at the photos, the entire right wing leading edge (where the fuel tanks reside on the A36 Bonanza) was destroyed, which means the fuel flew everywhere including someplace it could reach the hot exhaust, and I would have expected to see a pretty significant fire. No fire = no fuel.
