Loved Kamal’s set up. This theater room tour goes above a HT tour and discusses the inspirational backstory behind it. Amazing room. Seeing other rooms gives me inspiration to use ideas and incorporate mine the same way. Love watching Kamal’s pride and smile while explaining his HT room and his journey. On day I will try to be 3:00 at this point in the journey.
Kamal seems sooo cool and down to earth. We are both ‘82 kids and I also grew up watching movies with my dad. $.75 rentals back in the day before $2.99 blockbuster rentals 😂. Lived this episode and his theater!!!
Kamal: the level of passion, dedication and attention to detail that you have put into this is extraordinary. Very happy for you man! -D. Rodriguez (D.B.)
I don’t typically get into the toys and decorations. Then he started talking about the statues and it was fascinating!! So cool to hear the details about them. And the theater is stunning. Thanks for sharing this theater with us!
Yeah those wouldn't classify as toys, not playing with those😅 but I hear you it was really amazing hearing his story I can see many probably feel the exact same way deep down.
As always Michael fabulous Home Theater Tour, its a Beauty, glad to see Poster Kings dream come true, Kamal you are a gracious Host and a real Gentleman, Ime sure your Family and especially your Father are very proud of You
Michael phenomenal job on this interview. This is probably the best video, the best homeowner interview you have done since the inception of your channel. Something about capturing the homeowners passion as it relates to home theater is the perfect combination. This interview answered all the why's instead of all the how's.
I so related to this story. My dad ran the local movie theater chain my whole life. I got to see movies for free until he retired. I was 47. My home theater is the same for me. I have original posters of Star Wars, Planet of the Apes, Breakfast Club., etc. Thanks for this.
This is by far my favorite HT tour you have done. His love for movies and nostalgia is amazing. Everything was so clean and so well organize absolutely fantastic.
Well done, Mike. What a neat tour! I have a twister poster that I've always wanted signed by cast members. What an awesome collection of posters and movie related items.
A beautiful home theater that I love so much! What caught my attention on this second TH-cam video is that you have changed out your screen. I have upgraded everything in my HT several times but never the screen. My screen is a fixed 16x9, 150" non AT screen made by Carada. I am looking for a higher end screen that has masking to eliminate those ugly black bars. Any information on how you went with this particular screen would be appreciative, ie what is the gain, model name / number, or anything else. I have your same Sony VPL-XW7000ES projector. My screen is surrounded by wood so I don't know if the exact measurements would fit with Seymour screen frame dimensions that come from the factory? Michael, as always a wonderful job presenting this spectacular HT. All the best!
Just a follow up… Since watching this video it has inspired me to another upgrade on my HT, including removing walls (interior and exterior), raising the rear row riser, new carpet, and adding a new screen and a new projector… It may be beneficial for my wallet to stop watching Youthman HT videos!😂
Thank you for sharing this video, love the way Kamal told the story behind each statue, and he is quiet the collection, hopefully you will revisit the theater again and review the sound. when it comes to looks of the theater Audio Advice did really nice job,
Loving this channel, thanks guys. I have am old Sony VPL550 but i do love the Sony 7000ES ❤️ I’m going to wait for the next lot of Sony PJ’s as I’m hoping for full fat HDMI2.1 4K/120hz. Great video
I’m glad you enjoyed the video. I have a feeling Sony will announce their new projector line at CEDIA in a few weeks. I’ll be filming their booth so look for a video within a day or so of CEDIA.
Another great video and a great way to tell his story to his journey and his amazing imagination on how to display his love for movies. The posters are next level along with such a beautiful Home Theater and the finger print will everyone In check . Thanks to all who was apart of this amazing tour.
@@Youthman Like billions of others, I will never be allowed to have a high enough income to afford even a "middle class" life; the "choice" is NOT mine. You are sure that there is someone in control of our lives and I am sure that individual is keeping me in my lane. Which is bankrupt, depressed, now single and likely headed to homelessness. No matter what I do, how hard or how long I work everyday there is no chance for me to improve. At least I know that I am not alone who haven't a choice. "It is never so bad that it can't get worse!" - Unknown So, kudos, congratulations and best wishes to everyone with a blessed and bright future.
We’ve had this conversation many, many ,many times. You’ve made your choice and you are the individual that’s keeping you from changing your life. I grew up in a poor household. My mom and dad split up when I was 7. My sister and I knew we wanted better for our lives and for our families, so both of us worked a full time job while we went to college. Many years later, both of us started our own businesses from the ground up. No one handed us money. And before you say, it takes money to make money, I started with what I had. Had a really really old computer and I began to use Google to teach me how to build webs websites. I built my first website for a client who paid me $300. I began that home business in 2004 and it is what allowed us with enough income to begin to pay off debt. At one time, I had three jobs. I was a full time youth pastor, I was building websites at home and I had begun my TH-cam channel. If your job isn’t paying what you need to survive, you either need to find a new job or temporarily take out a second or even a third like I did until you can get some traction. The reality is that it’s much easier to watch a TH-cam video, complain about how we will never be able to have this or that instead of doing something positive that will begin to change the trajectory of our lives. Blaming the world or our circumstances and being depressed about it will never change one thing. You can change your life. But first you have to want to, and second, you have to do something different than what you are doing now because for the past many years, you’ve shared it’s not working for you.
Ah man, not much discussion on my favorite part of any theater tour, the subs and speakers! 😄 Was his front stage in-wall or beyond the screen on a shelf like yours?
We filmed 3 Home Theater Tours in one day so unfortunately we didn’t have enough time to dive into super deep on every aspect of the room. I didn’t see any photos of what his speakers looked like as everything was behind fabric or the AT screen.

This story is very touching, the level of emotion, attention to small detail, and the story behind, created one of my favorite HT tours.

Yes. They are on my walls. I have more posters than room. @@pinarellorider9023

What an incredibly nice cool guy! Love his theater but like his spirit even more. Great job getting this content out Michael. Really enjoyed this!

“amazing theater”
Kamal needs to do another theater so we can get him in another video!
Love how passionate Doctor Kamal is abut Cinema and it was great to hear his story and how everything ties together. thank you for sharing Michael
I hope those blue LEDs turn off during the film. That would be so distracting and wouldn’t have been in a commercial theater. Great room though.
Of course LED’s can be turned off. 🤷♂️
Love the minimalist design of this theater. Elegant and classy.
This is amazing.

Very nice tour of a very nice HT with a very nice owner. I will never get there, but hey, not everyone is allowed to.
Everyone is allowed to, many choose not to.

Money and acquaintances = Happiness
Happiness is dependent upon happenings. But joy is something that runs much deeper and has zero to do with money or acquaintances.
@@Youthman I think I can use this as a learning moment.
As Klaus Schwab says "You will own nothing and be happy".
@welderfixer Owning nothing and being happy are both choices we make on our own. Choose wisely.

@@YouthmanI don’t know if I’d say money has “zero” to do with joy. It may not be an absolute but it’s definitely a huge factor.
