It's especially easy to learn something when you're excited about it and the opportunities are endless with a Cricut cutting machine. It's not difficult at all to learn. You just create something in the Cricut Design space website or cellphone app, place vinyl on a sticky mat, and let the machine do its magic. It's truly easy. You already have sewing talents. A cutting machine will be a breeze. No, I've never taken classes. I just watched TH-cam videos on how to and there are plenty out there. Jennifer Maker is fantastic with Cricut tutorials. Hey, sure....it's very easy. If you can make a regular vinyl decal with a Cricut, you can definitely make a heat transfer decal. All you have to do is place your heat transfer vinyl 'shiny side down' on the mat and before cutting, click the 'mirror on' button so it will cut it turned around. You need that or your words will be turned around for permanent. Lol! It doesn't matter too much with images, but with words it matters. Hope this makes sense. Ok, gotcha. I just use a measuring tape to measure my available space, then click the image in the Cricut design space, click edit, and then enter the size needed. Give it a try.
I tried to open the paper plate holder but I must be doing something wrong. Itried it with my design place closed and with it open but when I click make it nothing happens. Is there something I have to do first? I just downloaded an update could that be the problem?
Hi Marie, are you talking about the link for the large peppermint in the Cricut Design Space? Hummm, that's odd. That link should definitely work, as a design space subscriber. You can also open a canvas and click image and search for peppermint in the search bar and resize it to the size you need. It's a pretty easy one to fine. Let me know if you need more help. Oh, using a Cricut is so much fun and you're never too old to have fun. It's especially easy to learn something when you're excited about it and the opportunities are endless with a Cricut cutting machine. It's not difficult at all to learn. You just create something in the Cricut Design space website or cellphone app, place vinyl on a sticky mat, and let the machine do its magic. It's truly easy. You already have sewing talents. A cutting machine will be a breeze. No, I've never taken classes. I just watched TH-cam videos on how to and there are plenty out there. Jennifer Maker is fantastic with Cricut tutorials. Loooooooove, could u please show me how u make the heat press decals .I'm new to circut
Hey, sure....it's very easy. If you can make a regular vinyl decal with a Cricut, you can definitely make a heat transfer decal. All you have to do is place your heat transfer vinyl 'shiny side down' on the mat and before cutting, click the 'mirror on' button so it will cut it turned around. You need that or your words will be turned around for permanent. Lol! It doesn't matter too much with images, but with words it matters. Hope this makes sense. Ok, gotcha. I just use a measuring tape to measure my available space, then click the image in the Cricut design space, click edit, and then enter the size needed. Give it a try.

I tried to open the paper plate holder but I must be doing something wrong. Itried it with my design place closed and with it open but when I click make it nothing happens. Is there something I have to do first? I just downloaded an update could that be the problem?
Hi Marie, are you talking about the link for the large peppermint in the Cricut Design Space? Hummm, that's odd. That link should definitely work, as a design space subscriber. You can also open a canvas and click image and search for peppermint in the search bar and resize it to the size you need. It's a pretty easy one to fine. Let me know if you need more help. Oh, that's the beauty of crafting, Sandi. You can add or remove as you'd like. For my decor, the added gingerbread men makes all my kitchen projects flow well together. You can definitely create to fit your decor. I have a kitchen reveal video from last Christmas. You can see what mean for my decor. It's pretty festive, but my grandkids love it. Lol!
