Of course Sully guessed the WEIGHT + TING ROOM clue that Rosie made. I was so confused lmao.
This just show how great of a actor Sully is that he was a owl in the movies
Blair was genius with the "Little Miss Sunshine, War, Symbol" set of clues.
It was a good move, but the major move of the game was « war of the roses ». Threw off Adam’s team for the entire game.
Adam: "Knot, nailed on." Close but no. Rosie: "I think number 1 is cry". Yep, spot on. Worth noting that Rosie is not only a joyful force of chaos and a jewel in the NRB crown, she's also very good (and not stumbling as someone else suggested).
As a big Shakespeare fan, I think Adam using "All the world's a stage" for AGE was awesome. Smart guy.
That 'All The World's a Stage" clue was fantastic. Threw Sully for a loop. He kept trying to remember what play it's from when really he should have been trying to remember what the monologue is about.

It's really good seeing Rosie enjoy a more sedate/deductive game - she obviously has fun with the more improv style ones, but sometimes those players generally stick with that sort of more performance game. I'd really love to see this group play Gloom as it feels like halfway between the improv ones and a simple take that game
PS - would have liked a debrief at the end of that over some of the weirder clues - was Cronenberg a reference to History Of Violence?

@@NoRollsBarred Thought that was a bit more likely than the beer! Mind you, I'd love to know if I'd have made that connection without Violence on the screen, but trying to mask out the teams words probably would have given the poor guy in the edit suite conniptions!

Ahhhh, now I get how this game works! I've seen a few reviews on it talking about how it's a good puzzle, but I don't think any of them mentioned that each team's keywords stay the same until they're guessed by the other team! The puzzle comes from having to come up with as many ways to code the keywords without giving them away as you can! Now I see it!

Because based on other videos I had seen about the game I don’t think any of them had mentioned it clearly or showed how the game actually played in a way that was clear like this one.
@@Veggieman87 You wrote that the keywords "stayed the same until discovered by the other team". That's wrong, they don't change even in this case. Just as a clarification.

I love this channel so much that I watched this whole video despite having no clue what was going on.
Board game club really is the highlight of my TH-cam week! Really enjoyed seeing this game, definitely a game to pick up next time I get into town! It took me a while to understand what I was seeing on the screen, Fingers crossed you guys can meet in the same place again soon to make some of these because I think this would have been much easier to follow without the UI.

"All the World's a Stage" (aka The Seven Ages of Man) is from As You Like It, said by Melancholy Jacques (and it isn't from the Prologue). I studied it for O Level English (revealing my age there) and I haven't forgotten.
This was definitely hard to understand
But seeing Rosie stumble into guessing the right idea is very fun
Don’t know if anyone has mentioned it here yet, but I think they didn’t quite have the end game rules right.
Teams win if they achieve 2 interceptions or if the opposing team gets 2 mistakes (so far so good), but in case of a tie, per team, inceptions = +1, and mistakes = -1. Higher “score” wins. So one mistake can cost you the game in tiebreakers.
If the score is still tied, THEN the word guessing is the final tiebreaker.
I find it frustrating that finding the exact keywords is not more rewarded

All clues have to be PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE…….no inside jokes, personal words only another person or persons know.

I'm for content and can Aversion/conversion literally put the word in the clue.
Ting Room does not relate to the word weight in of itself.
Its harsh but really made me upset, otherwise she's a great player.
