I haven't finished all the games of rusty lake yet but I can tell blond girl is the key to something. I haven't figured it out yet tho Edit: I've finished seasons. Season winter explained a lot about her but I still couldn't understand why she was so important until I started playing "The Caves". There is a book in the caves and it explains a lot of things abut her and the other characters. So if you've finished seasons please go and play "The Caves". :)

I don't understand the last part of the puzzle. Once I go out the door, how do I know that I have to put the needles to let me lower the crank? In the dog's room there is a drawing with some red and green arrows, but I don't know what they have to do with the needles, since in each part there is only one and they are white and red. I dont know...
The arrangement of the 4 murals in the pie chart are in the opposite directions (up-side-down and left-right swapped) of the actual mural positions on the wall, so it suggests that the arrows represent the opposite of the needles, too. The green arrow on the right is supposed to represent the white needle on the left, and the red arrow on the left represents the red needle on the right. The directions that the arrows point to are also the opposite directions of what the needles should point to. The green arrow points to bottom left, so the white needle should point to upper right. The red arrow points to bottom right, so the red needle should point to upper left.

I did everything possible with the spider web, went to see the walkthrough, but in my game the second touch in that exact place makes the web start over again. There's no way to play this game if the web thing is not working. I even tried to touch at the exact same spot, but it's not working...
I don’t understand how the needles are meant to be pointed that way at the end. It makes zero sense since the colors don’t match on the wheel on the wall.

I already know how should we know it. The shadow shape on the book tell you where the picture fits. You have to pay attention at the shape and the picture to know it.
The pick axe is for the completed structure. 🙂 Get away from the scene and click onto it again to restart. The last staglatite is used to erase the wrong stack layer.

The “white” is supposed to be green, and you just move it to point to the corresponding directions
