- In this film, spiritual teacher and author Gautam Sachdeva, quotes from a book by Joel Goldsmith, from whose teachings one can gain precious insights on prayer and surrender to Sai Baba.
Gautam shares reflections on devotees experiencing pain and suffering - he says that while some are unable to accept difficult circumstances, others accept divine will and pray for strength to deal with the situation.
Reading a few lines from Goldsmith's work, Gautam explains the meaning of true prayer and surrender to the divine will, drawing parallels from the fundamental teachings of Sai Baba and the essence of His teaching - Shraddha and Saburi. He also touches upon how to pray and how not to pray, what is a prayer of emptiness, and discusses what is true surrender, how little is in our control, accepting WHAT IS rather than thinking of what SHOULD BE, and how true surrender leads to peace, after the focus turns away from the "little me" to the acceptance of divine wisdom.

What’s most beautiful about this channel is that it calms me down. Before I joined this in 2020, I used to have panic attacks every week twice. Gradually, I connected more and touchwood, I had only a few (2/3) in 2021. This channel has given me courage, it has given me baba in a way. I listen to everything with utmost attention almost organically even if I’d been running around in circles of anxiety, overthinking, fragmented attention and frustration all day. These videos clear ripples on my mind, vanish all words between my lips and simply bring the awareness back to awareness of Being. I am just so grateful. I am nothing without baba and undoubtedly, this channel has helped my bond get stronger. To me baba is everything, he pervades this universe and the million others which humans don’t know about. He’s in the vaccum and in the dark matter too. He is all there is and all I see everywhere. I pray he leads me wherever I go, wherever he wishes to take me in this life and in others.

"I promise to get out of my own way" This is a new prayer I learnt today ! Gautamji you've always advocated to us the highest and purest form of prayer - total surrender. So so difficult especially when one is suffering illness and physical pain which one knows is Karma being administered for one's own ultimate good.
