I was looking at my TH-cam feed, and saw a Sarlor video, and low and beyond i'm in it! One thing you did not mention prior to the Ghost Group, was we spend about 90 seconds going over how we planned to handle what we were going to fight, and how we would play as a team. Such a simple thing, but it makes the group SOOOOO much more efficient. In this case, I was the sole healer, which put pressure on my Mana Pool. In that case, I usually like to have the DL tank, because they have so much self heal. In this case though, we decided that since we had two other casters in the group, we really needed to manage agro more, so we asked our Warrior to main tank, so he could snap pull agro, and keep the casters safe(er). While this meant I was usually in a mana low situation, it was more efficient (and safe) for the group to operate this way. One reason I enjoy playing with you (and the others) is that you play your Rogue this way as well. Instead of going for the big max DPS numbers, you do what is best for the group. In this case working with our Necro Trey to get the gap off first, and then combining your armor debuff with mine. Since we had 3 Melee in the group (Rogue, DL and War), this was the most efficient way to proceed. I would have Gapped, but since I was main/only healer I preferred to have my baby heal in my technique bar instead of Gap, so Trey stepped up to do the Gap. We talked about this prior to starting, and everyone was onboard, and we had a plan. To me this is the difference between a good group, and a great group. It is also why PUGs can be hard, because you don't usually have that good teamwork. Awesome video!
I don't know if taunt is the same in pantheon but you could use the warrior to get snap threat then the DL taunt off him. I used to do the opposite on my sk in raids and when grouped with a warrior in xp groups.
Was plaing Cleric but recently rolled a rogue and was having a blast, only level 5. Thanks for the content, very helpful. What would you say make the best tradeskills for the rogue?
Sarlor took Leatherworking and Weaponsmithing, but I could also see either or both swapped for Alchemy or Cooking for clicky buffs like Health Potions and my crit food.
My testing has shown that backstab and waylay do pretty much the exact same amount of damage. I'm trying to find more information about this, but at this point, I can't see why I'd ever choose backstab over waylay. When solo, with no required positioning for waylay I can use it 3 times during a fight (based on the length of time for my fights) instead of only 2 times with backstab (which requires my stun to succeed or i can't even use BS twice). Thoughts?
Curious: why is your stealth so good? When I go in stealth at low level and low level zones.. I get spotted literally so easy by everything lol.. any tips?
@@Lifetaps-and-Backstabs Thanks! I've been looking around for class guides for nec and there are a couple out there, they're just shit. Exposure wasn't useful because there wasn't a caster in the group that could make use of it, and also bleeds stack, so if you look at the debuff bar it has two bleeds on there. They both tick for damage :) Welcoem to the Rogues!

Great points and thanks for the comments mate! Cant wait to get back in to Hanggore, show you around and deeper in to Halnirs with you and the gang!!!

As a solo rogue , I don't like to use corrosive brew; and I normally start with 2 explosive traps set.
Interesting. Why dont you lile Corrosive Brew?
Hey Frost awesome guide as always! Just a quick question here, how long can a rogue mez for? I re-mezzed and it got out of my mez 😞
18 seconds. 38 with a Flash Bomb first for Disorientate State. Any subsequent Mez's last less time, though.

Trying out Rogue and having a blast with them. Question, you have bloodletter causing light bleed. But your also using deceptive strike with a dagger as your weapon? Is that not also causing a light bleed and a waste? If thats the case I'd swap it for weak point or exposure. Noticed you don't have any macros, I found this to be the easiest class to make a full macro for! Try out this rogue one I made and have been liking alot :)

Parser? Yes
How do you do this?
is rogue one of the more underplayed classes? which class do you think is least played so far?
