actually I can do the same with my G27 shifter (reverse went out, as Slap mentioned in this video plastic parts break, I shifted into 2nd gear and heard a snap and I guess it was reverse breaking) and I'm buying this to replace it as only reverse is broke

They need too do an E-brake add on for the drift boys like me and you Slap. Lol.

To be fair the clutch pedal on the T3PAs can be switched to be the E-Brake.

I use Logitech G25 Racing Wheel. And i like it. It cannot be customized like that, but it gets the job done pretty well.
Logitech g920 or thrustmaster tmx pro?
I like the sequential option on the shifter but how the wheel?
Tmx is so much stronger than the logitech g920 its like half stronger torque. So go for tmx if you want more performance and quality from the motor inside base. Or the logitech g920 if you like plastic shifters and fake leather stuff with like no ffb.

which do u think would be better for drifting, 1 using the paddles as a handbrake with the TH8A for gears or, 2 using the TH8A as a handbrake and paddle shifting??

Please help, I recently bought the steering wheel thrusmaster t500 rs grand tour version 6, the steering wheel works fine, but the problem I have is with the th8a shift lever, it does not detect my ps4 pro, and I connect it directly to the port Usb of the play, but I do not know what happened, will the steering wheel need a firmware update? Or what do you recommend?

What is the intro song? The song he has in the description is not the same song as his intro song now.
My shifter broke 1 day after i got it and thrustmaster support was dicks about it. I sent My wheel back one time when it broke and it as worked ever since it returned but they would not help me with the shifter, i installed drivers for my shifter but it was nerver recognized by my pc or my xbox one.
Hall sensors is new technology? Well, the hall effect was only discovered by Edwin Hall in 1879!!! Fairly new then...

had 2 of these for my tx wheel and cant get any of them to work with my xbox one. downloaded the drivers from the thrustmaster site and plugged the shifter in to my tx housing and nothing can t get either of them to work with it
Hey. I have the same problem, the shifter works fine for me on pc but xbox 1 doesn't recognize it. If you have figured the problem out, let me know :)

No problem man i just got it sorted recently. I emailed thrustmaster and they emailed me back this:
so download this driver;
ts.thrustmaster.com/download/pub/webupdate/T500RS/2014_TTRS_3.exe
And follow the instructions on this pdf;
ts.thrustmaster.com/download/pub/webupdate/T500RS/TXRW_Firmware_Update_Procedure_V48.pdf
it basically involved downloading the driver for the wheel and updating the firmware in a specific way, but follow thew instructions in the pdf. and when playing forza 5 i think u need to select the gears with clutch for it to work properly.

Hello everyone, im interested in buying this shifter as the sequential shifter that came with my Logitech dfgt wheel is crap and boring. Anyway i like the look of this shifter but the only thing i don't like the look of is the gear knob and i was wondering if any would fit it instead specially a leather one for better realism?

+Rob Fitzpatrick when you get the cluth get the PRO pedals not the regular 100 dollar ones. Using them inverted (GT style) is worth the extra 50 dollars IMO.

Tungi Martyn You can't connect the shifter to any console directly. You have to connect it to a Thrustmaster base via DIN. Only way.
Hello! Let me ask a question: as well as you can modify the shift throw for the H pattern, Can you modify the sequential throw for for example to have a sequential shifter plate with a longer hole? thanks!
