if you notice in major international competitions it's from 1) control 2) pose/elegant 3) 0 mistakes 4) lastly speed . Yuqi look like she's in a rush to finish it plus so many mistakes . The aim is to look untouched/elegant super in control of any situation . I would advise you to look at Southern American or English ladies when they do this competition .

Stephanie Charming Hyebin made one mistake overall and Yuqi made two. The scoring is not as straightforward as it seems but that doesn’t mean it’s rigged.
from what i read in the section this is hyebin second time to participate while yuqi’s first? meaning hyebin knew more what she must & not do in the game. i’m sure if theres a next time for Yuqi, she’ll know also it’s ok Yuqi. you still did great! i’m no expert on horse back riding but it looked like you handled your horse well. oh. and you look CHIC riding it!
