Dadgum y’all. Finally got my wife talked into the Pelican you have been going with and then you buy the one we had always talked about as our “retirement “ fishing boat. So now she says back to the aluminum Jon boat. But, being able to take the grandkids will be better. Now, STOP THERE! Oh, nice boat. Thanks.
Thank you so much for your content. I’m up in maine but I’m looking for a boat to fish skinny water up here for stripers, pile, etc. now you have had the boat for a while how’s it treating you in the salt? Im also wonder how the push pole is working from the cooler? Do you have thoughts about a poling platform or is the cooler doing the trick?
It goes super skinny. We pushed it over an oyster reef that was 4 inches deep. We have also been able to just get out if we get up on a sandbar and push it right off. Love this boat!!! It's holding up well in the saltwater. Coolers work for poling and sight casting very well. I thought about having platform welded on but it was too permanent. So I have left it as is. I am looking at a smaller skiff right now. So it is for Sale. I am wanting a 2 man custom fly fishing skiff I think. Email me if you're interested tyonthefly@yahoo.com Don't give me a reason to drive to Maine and go fishing. Lol
I think this boat is in my future. As I get older I need more stability. Looks like you were getting around pretty well.
Get some of those pop up line cleats for the front and looks perfect for fly fishing . You can even make that front deck a little bigger
Nice! Looks like that does the trick!

Nice to see you get the maiden voyage and skunk off….Fish on
Good review. Hopefully I buy one of these in the near future.
Nice video and awesome boat. The steel trailer may give you problems in a few years though
Fished a teacher Tracker Grizzly in Galveston and Freeport for years. It was a great boat and got in skinny. You're just going to hate that trailer.
Good job Ty
Seriously been considering that style boat
Maybe a tad shorter
16 - 17 feet
Great boat for marsh or lake
All right ty how much did that boat cost such you back it is a nice boat
I believe you got rid of the Tracker but I was wondering how it performed for you when you owned it. Thanks!

The Griz looks really stable. Wifey has some good balance standing on the edge of the bow like that
It must be the yoga. Theresa was doing poses on the bow of a kayak years ago in Pensacola.
Amazing Video... HEY Can you please tell me what your reading are on your capacity plate for that boat? Thank you sir!!!!
Nice my friend
How well will it run shallow? Think you’ll put a jack plate on?
Floats in a few inches May get a Jack plate. Not real soon. Runs well on flats
Any issues fishing that aluminum boat in saltwater ? Do you rinse afterwards?
Aluminum does not rust. Rinse or not.
Is the 60 enough in there or would you recommend the 90?
its plenty for me- but im watching my weight. the 90 adds 100lbs. right now she will slide off a 2" deep flat. its super skinny here in south tx tho.
Is that a 60hp or 90hp. Do most my fishing in skinny water and concerned about motor weight.
I got the 60 to keep things light
In our family, no one can catch a fish until my wife catches the first one. I don't know why, but that's just the way it is.
Same. Consistently out dishes by my wife.
Title change….. And Who caught it?????
90 or 60hp engine?
60HP
Dookie tuber 😂
She comes across as having no respect for you.
