Great video. We visit Napa once a month. My husband is over the landscape design and install at the Carneros Resort so we go to many wineries and restaurants over the last six years.
But, what did you wear?!! 😍 I’m planning a trip for mid December with my boyfriend and the avg is like 58 but I’ve heard it’s really chilly in The Valley!
Next time check Del dotto under caves. And for sparkling wine check schramsberg. Delicious and gorgeous properties. Opus one is a most for wine and peppery visitors. Alpha Omega their wines are amazing. Peju is a beautiful property as well. And please avoid Castello de Amorosa. Their wine is so bad and their property feels like Disney.
Hi came across this great video. really liked the route. we are planning a similar trip on December 2021. can you suggest the hotels you stayed in and the locations? I can then look for hotels in that area. want to spend Christmas ina quaint surrounding. a church surrounding would be great for Christmas.. many many thanks
Wine country is definitely not cheap! And we splurged on a lot of extra things…hot air balloon, wine and food pairings, nicer hotels, etc. But the average tasting I would guess is around $100 pp. That’s what I love about this area though- you could plan 1000+ different trips to fit it in your budget!
I work in Napa in the wine industry. Too bad you missed all the important stuff at the some of the most important historical wineries. We cringe when we see the floppy hat girls coming with their phones and all they want to do is take photos of themselves. Castello di Amarosa was taken down in Italy and SHIPPED to Napa. It is an old castle. And yes, it is man-made…
Great Video... Very Helpful... Thank you 💖💖💖

How far in advance would you think we would need to schedule tours for December? Also, did you do dinner reservations for every place you went?
This was very helpful! Thank you!

Nice, thanks! Would be wonderful if you share in the descripction the names!
Would have been good to have had some of the locations shown with a name in the video, for example the place that was mentioned in Yountville.
Really well done video thank you for sharing your experience with us!
Glad it was helpful!

What type do tasting did you do at Kunde? They have 2 different tastings
I'm not sure I 100% remember, but I imagine I did the lesser one because we chose to do more wineries and smaller tastings!
This is awesome. Can you link your clothes lol 😂
I link all my outfits on the LiketoKnow. It App!! :)

I think it was just Napa balloon?!
@@kelliheppner1265 k thanks
Hi ! So can u just stop for a glass without a reservation??
At some of them you can! Rams gate was my favorite one to do that!
You stayed in Calistoga, not Kenwood
Saying classic sparkling wine method is more correct for a champagne producers
Good to know!!
Such a great video! What was the place y’all went to at 10:04 in the video?

what are the important things to watch for? i’d be flying to napa soon
Well get ready I'll be one of those ladies lol but I am there to drink not just take pics. 😘
A little rude and pretentious. This is why I prefer Sonoma over Napa.
