Thank you! I have probably said this a million times now, but he was my introduction to figure reviews and the one who made me want to pursue it. No one will ever top him, but if anything I do makes you feel like his videos made you felt, I am honored and happy.
Well there WAS a 10" Toybiz Apocalypse back in the 90s with the look you wanted. In fact, it was the Apocalypse on my shelf for many years, until I got that glorious Select version. I hope you do a comparison video with all the Toybiz and Hasbro MLs, plus that Select.
Ya i got into glenn webb hardcore when i got back into collecting as an adult, and then he died that next year. Then i think a year later, john shnepp from collider video, at that time amc died and it felt like i was becoming an adult nerd watching the people who motivated me die!!! 😢😐 then i regained my passion!!!!😁😊😁😊👍👍👍
He was absolutely my biggest inspiration and is the one who made me want to do this. It was such a blow when he passed. There will never be anyone like him
@@5POAFigureReviews agreed!!! Loving your videos and style to fill that void!!! Keep it up!! I love your videos and the random comments, please keep going!!!😁👍😁👍😊👍😊👍
In my opinion, Apocalypse, Magneto, Sabretooth, Mystique, are definitely the best X-MEN villains because Apocalypse is so cool with his power abilities but the X-MEN do find a way to stop the fist ever born mutant from taking over, I don't have this guy, But I will get him along with the AOA Apocalypse, Great review Jason.
Wow bro youre a pretty balanced reviewer and I appreciate that ;). Just unsubbed from a ton of the older toy channels due to the great shillinining that was the Robbie Reyes fiasco. You have my like sir :)
Brad looks good 5POA. It would appear that the inspiration from the cartoon will be influencing certain X-Men retro offerings. Apocalypse is one the first now that the VCR agenda is on hold. Personally, I am going to hold off on this one until the Marvel Select gets released. I would like to compare the two first before deciding which one is more to my preference.
For some reason - I guess the flat colors - I thought this was a part of the Marvel Legends 3.75" Retro series (which, in retrospect makes no sense cuz the package design is different...), like for an extra giant version of him. Kind've in line with the giant Sentinel figure. Gotta lay off the toy shopping while on Nightime Theraflu!
I own the BAF with a cast head (same reason why you mentioned in the video), which is fantastic. If I didn’t own that one, this would be jumping into my collection.
With the more realistic style of the Singer movies, a really big dude like Dwayne Johnson would be perfect. Unfortunately, I hear he has a clause in his contracts that he can never lose a fight scene. He either has to win every fight or it has to be draw, so I can see why that would make casting him as a villain like Apocalypse a challenge.
@@5POAFigureReviews Honestly, (this was before end game) when that film came out, I was hoping Apocalypse would win and thought then the next few films would be an Age of Apocalypse trilogy.
Kudos for the Glenn Webb reference! Your reviews have the same spirit as his, yet you elevate it with your own flavor!

Where’d you get the McDonald joker? It’s hilarious!
Watching this made me remember that Glenn Webb made a action figure evolution of Apocalypse lol
Yeah, I actually rewatched it when I made this video for old times sake

It's coming, just got so backlogged I lost track of it

Thanks Fernando! Yeah, Apocalypse is one of the best Marvel villains period.

Thanks, I really appreciate that. Yeah...I decided to stay far far away from all that lol
I didnt knew the neck thing, its kinda cool to know, great review man!!!!
Thanks! And did you also know Mike Tyson is a huge fan of Apocalypse and used to quote him after he won fights? Also a neat little factoid
@@5POAFigureReviews wow thats cool!!!,thanks for the fact
Again Jason, your review is the best, straight to the point, funny and short and yet we want more of you and your review
Thanks so much! Always more coming. Can't stop, won't stop lol
@@5POAFigureReviews 2:40 was the funniest gesture, no one has ever point that out
You gotta compare all Apocalypse’s now!
Apocalypse Now? Great movie! lol as for the Apocalypse Versus, I promise it's coming within the next few weeks.
"Curious if anyone kicked him here..." lolz good one
Lol thanks
A wonderful review once again! I'll wait for the Select one for the size and detail.
Thanks! And you can be sure when he comes out I'll be comparing them.

Well Jay, you'll be happy to know I will be doing just such a comparison down the road after the Select comes out.
another great vid 🤘that version is definitely a must he looks superb definitely a blast to the past
Yeah I was unsure at first but he really grew on me
8:20 "From the ashes of a broken Iron man, he will build a better one."
Man that is a good one! Wish I thought of it! Lol

In hindsight I am kicking myself because a target by me had that Gladiator collecting dust for months and I just ignored it. If only I knew then!
Update: I purchased this Apocalypse and is in the mail now.
I sold the BAF to my friend, who was blown away by my paint jock of the cast head.
Have you heard of the 5 points of Calvinism?
Indeed I have
@@5POAFigureReviews are you a Calvinist
We've come so far in terms of figures and how they play, need proof: BOOM
The Rock should've played him rather than Oscar Issac. He looks great. Wish I had him.
