I will be there in November to investigate. If i can land a job i plan to relocate in the next year. I have two concerns: airport international flight options and mosquito season. 😅
We just got back to LA last night from Raleigh. We checked out Cary and Apex. In fairness it was nice although the weather was bad due to the storm. My wife and I liked it but the only thing we didn’t like is how low the salary is nurses. It’s barely half of what we get paid here in California. Surprisingly, the cost of living isn’t that cheap. We went to Costco and we were surprised of the cost. It’s the same as in California. The only good thing is the tax is lower there, but you don’t feel a huge difference. The gas is cheaper but I still don’t think it balances up the low salary. We were wondering how people would be able to afford a house there if you’re a regular employee. You have to have a business that generates at least 100k a year to live comfortably. Our only edge I guess is to sell our house here and buy a house there cash but still the salary is still low to compensate the cost of living.
Thanks for watching and the comment! Oh, that's interesting! Do you know if it is an official job offer? Or is it a number off of a website like Glassdoor? The cost of living has risen dramatically all over the country, and it seems that incomes have been unable to keep up. Not having a mortgage does sound nice. You can invest that money each month. Give us a call if we can help at all 919-249-8536!
Guys, let me save you some time. Are you looking to bring your life to the next level, are you looking to blow your entire life savings on the first 2 months of rent? Then Apex is the place for you!!! Jobs taken by immigrants galore! High taxes and even higher prices are in surplus!! TLDR; rent is ridiculously high with the lowest cost housing being as low as 1600/month for a 1 bedroom 1 bath, the grocery prices dont get much better with a dozen of eggs being around 6 to 8 dollars at Aldi, and the police are very lazy. Its a prime environment for illegal immigrants, and criminals to make their home and ruin. DONT MOVE HERE
Apex has some really great neighborhoods!
Apex the hidden gem of wake county🙌🏽
Agreed! Apex is the peak of good living!
