Hey a quick tip before you throw those trim pieces out! If you're gonna throw them out it's worth trying this since there's no loss. I've seen on Amazon these..theyre wipes but they have a ceramic coding on them... Like ready to use ones. And I say Chris fix completely restore faded trim wjth those it was insane. Give it a go it'll save u tons of cash. 👍🏼
I miss my non M E46. Had it for 12 yrs and put a total of 200,000+ miles on it. Sub frame tear was like the only major repair it ever had. Installed TMS plates and drove it for a few years more until I got my E82.

love the e46 content. i just started an e34 build while taking care of my e46 zhp. there isnt a whole lot of good quality content aside from DBO regarding e34. maybe do a e34 M5 or 540i series?

Seems just the parts/labor cost it took for the standard maintenance you've done, not the mention the subframe reinforcement/repair and especially the transmission swap to get it moving, wasn't cheap? Its always fun to see the process but would you ever do a cost breakdown video for us fellow e46 owners? To give us a heads up on the stuff we may/will have to do or who have similar issues?
