Excellent tutorial, just made one. It’s bigger than yours for bigger circles but works brilliantly, thank you .

Hi, Your tutorial is very clear, but I think that there is something wrong with your measurements. If you put your index marks by measuring from the center of the index mark to the center of the router bit (for example 1") and used a 1/2" diameter router bit to remove the material, then the measurement from your 1" mark to the other edge of the bit would be 1 - 1/4". The measurement to the inside of the 1/"2" router from your 1" index hole would be 3/4". So you're not making a 1" cut out of either the disc that you removed or the hole that is left in the base material. What this means is that everything changes based on the diameter of your router bit.

I wonder what is the best way to make a round corner, with a radius of say, four inches, without having to drill into the piece you're working on. I think that if I search for more videos I will get more that explain how to make round holes where you discard the inside.

Nice jig. Would be good to label each hole with the corresponding diameter so you don't have to measure from the bit each time.

The downside to that would be if you want to make a "hole" instead of a circular piece. For a hole, the diameter would be off by half an inch from the bit thickness. Honestly, I thought he messed up at first because he measured from the inside of the bit. I'm making speaker enclosures, so I need to be sure to measure from the outside of the bit.

Make your jig out of 1/4" plywood, easy, cheaper and wont break....
You probably have some in your shop or garage laying around.
That clear acrylic is NOT cheap.
