Cilyra 4 days ago i would like anything great about jon. As he was my most fav got character...(a little spoiler of s7e6 ). . . . . . . . . Now i am just ashamed of him... He is no king.. He just don't know when doing something is not necessary. Or what is appropriate in which situation.. The show just dumbed down him to portray other character cool. I hope book jon will not disappoint me. Nice video by the way. But it just made me sad.
He never really wanted to be king. Jon has his flaws like every other character on the show. It's not because he's made some bad choices in the past that he is no king. Dany made some bad choices, she is still a queen, Cersei is still a queen, Sansa could be queen but she has her flaws, Arya and every other character are like that. The only difference with Jon is not that he does things not necessary because *it is* necessary (SPOILER FOR S07E06: like going beyond the wall, he *knows* they need every single fighting men they can get to beat the knight king and Cersei still has plenty of them AND the support of the iron bank of braavos). Jon is a selfless king, he would give his life for his people, for the people he loves. SPOILER FOR S07E06 I've always been for an independant North so when he bent the knee, of course I was disappointed but we can't really say that was a bad decision can we (but yes it was kind of unecessary since she'd already agree to fight with him)? He bent the knee not only because she saved them but because she saved them knowing she would risk her own life and that's a quality Jon admires because it's what *he would have done*. SPOILER FOR S07E06 Risking his own life to bring back a white walker south of the wall was kind of necessary to unite a very divided westeros. They can only beat the knight king united. Jon Snow is still pretty damn cool and still one of my favorite character on the show and let's just wait until Bran tells him about his true parentage. Thank you for the sweet comment at the end, I have no idea why I made a long ass reply to this but I can understand your point of view and let's just remind ourselves that on Game Of Thrones, everything happens for a reason.
Cilyra i have no problem of him bending his knee when it is necessary. No king should bend his knee just for gratitude, sympathy or admiration. His people had admiration for him that's why they made him king, trusted him without knowing about ww or anything... I don't think a king can do that. It's not logical. A king always bends his knee out of desperation.like torrhen stark did.. Yes everything happens because of reason in the show. But the natural events or george's world is not like that. In his world everything that happens give births to the events and those reasons which the tv show wanted to telecast... What jon did is not acceptable. He is better than this. Damn this is actually really well made, I love the song choice. Jon and Arya have some of the best character development that iv'e seen in television. Its kind of sad/dark when you think about how he basically asked to die after realizing he was condemned to fighting his whole/multiple lives! And he has lost so many friends and family over the years; i'm sure if I was in his position, seeing the things he's seen, I would probably want to be left dead too. George RR Martin is a fucking genius, creating stories like that with so much depth and detail for each character is insane.

You've been able to show us Jon's true essence...The video highlights his strength and honor and at the same time the large amount of sadness and worries he carries on his back since his journey began. You stunningly summarized how Ned Stark's bastard boy became a real admirable man. Amazing video. The editing is great, the music you have chosen is so sweet and tragical. There is something about Jon that pulls at my heartstrings so much, in spite of myself... maybe it's his sense of honor, maybe it's the fact that he's brooding but not bitter about his fate as a bastard, such a strong character and wise. He's a Stark through and through, educated in the spirit of family and unity, sacrificing even his life for what is right... he stoicly accepts whatever fate sends his way. I wish there were more men like him. If only the ending would be him being on a throne (the Iron Throne should be destroyed and replaced with a more beautiful one), finally uniting the 7 kingdoms... This is the music I'd play during the coronation scene. :) Sadness at the loss of lives, but also hope for a better future together, united. Way to go, Cilyra, keep up the amazing work.
