Regular WD40 is not meant for spraying on rubber. There's a separate special silicone based product with same brand name available for use on rubber.

Yes absolutely you can use it for polish
I think you have installed wheel arch on ecos and finishing is good as can barely see in this video. Could you please let me know where did do that and how much you paid for it. Thanks
Sir actually it's not a wheel arch, its just a balck wrapping paper and the cost is only 500rs
I drive 2014 Eco.. don't ever use wd40 for the weatherstrip/rubber seals ...use only silicone spray. Wd40 is prfct for loosening bolts or rusty areas . In fact it's bttr to use silicone spray for the doors too. The tail gate squeaky noise is coz of the latch assembly..this is an inherent problem.
In my ecosport when I open back/boot door it creates little sound from the lock I have applied greased into it. Is there any way to solve it.
Don't use grease for lock assamble it will create problems like sensor not detecting door closed once happened to me and cleaned all grease and used wd40 solved problem

Its just a wrapping paper
wd40 को lubricant की तरह use नहीं करना चाहिए... bc कुछ दिनों के बाद यह उड़ जाता है और joints में roughness आ जाती है... यह temporary solution के लिए ही सही है
Then what will be the permanent solution. I am also suffering from the same issues .
