This looks like fun! I will have to give this one a try. I just started following you. I am a Canadian living in Cozumel Mexico. Macrame is something I could do while sitting on the beach or on those rainy days when you cant get out of the house. I have a small macrame board for necklaces and bracelets, however, I would like to know where you got that big board. If it is available to order, I may have my adult children mule one down in December. Thanks in advance. I love all of your pieces that you make.

Beautifull bag, what size strap does it use? 3 mm or 4 mm?

Here's the link to my store. You can find cords and bag hardware. For this bag, 13mm snap hooks, 20mm snap hooks, spring O rings and 5mm cords were used.😀
Please can you say how much total cord you need for this bag as before starting some people including me have random yarn in stock but we never know how much in total if we have enough for our project before starting
You need approximately 67m of cord :)

No, that won’t work. You have to do it in increments of 4. You might be able to make it work with 28, but with 30 you’d have to random strings because each square knot requires 4 strings.

Hi Sadia, you can use a single strand cord but the shape might be a little different since they have different texture. I think it will be worth trying😃

Can I use 3mm filler cords?
I think it will not work properly because there is a big difference between the sizes. I don't know if it works with 4mm
I think you can but the outcome of the bag will be smaller because of the cord size.
