In today’s Egg Whisperer Show podcast episode, I’m sharing a recent Ask The Egg Whisperer. The first question I read is from Sylvia, and here’s the question she sent in, “We have been trying for nearly two years with no luck. I have been diagnosed with adenomyosis and was wondering if this could be affecting my fertility as there doesn’t seem to be much information out there. Most info is coupled with endometriosis but I don’t have that. I was just wondering if you had any insight on this?”
Here’s what I share with Sylvia about adenomyosis: adenomyosis is a fertility threatening condition. It can decrease implantation rates, increase risk of miscarriage, and increase the risk of pregnancy complications. It’s important to get an accurate diagnosis and a treatment plan as soon as possible when you have this. There are ways to treat adenomyosis and your fertility specialist or OBGYN can help.

I actually had this diagnosis as well… but I’ve heard that women are getting over diagnosed with adenomyosis. I do not have painful periods or heavy bleeding it’s usually typically light cycles. My AMH was at a 4.3 a yr or two ago. I’m 38 and husband is now 43 we had 1 failed Ivf transfer, preparing for a second. My Dr said that we’re closer to unexplained infertility. The one that failed was normal and the one we plan to transfer is also normal. Any recommendations? We had 10 originally embryos that went to 3, 1 is gone now we have 2 and 1 is mosaic. We did pgs testing for all of them. Any recommendations?

Hey you can consult with your doctor for endometrial scratching before embryo transfer. It sometimes help the embryo to implant in the uterus and scratching also enhances overall uterus environment. I would also suggest you to stay positive no matter what the outcome is. positive mindset can do miracles for you. All the best and baby dust to you dear.
