Watching this video all the way from Burundi. I was always wondering where I'd find a good bike market in EAC. And now I know where to look thanks to your video. I've lived in India for a long time, and all the bikes you mentioned where available there, except for the CF-MOTO, because (India vs China). But I am curious as to why you didn't include the Bajaj Pulsar NS 200?
thanks big time..for Bajaj we included the dominar 400..the pulsar ns 200 is also a good beginner bike although you will easily feel its lack of power a few months after using it hence need for at least 20 HP
From my Riding experience, I'm sorry to say I disagree with most of your recommendations if one is looking for both a "Value For Money" AND also a "Beginner" Motorcycle. From a Kenya perspective, A "Beginner Value for Money" Bike should cost less than KES 300,000 ($2430) and should be 300CC or less (preferably second-hand 200cc Max) Actually, unlike in developed countries, a typical 300CC bike would be Mid-tier or Advanced Bike. I started off with an Apache 160CC as my Beginner Bike and my only regret is that I did not buy a used Apache instead Kulima shamba (crash) which will happen severally as a beginner. I have a Zontes 310T and definitely, that's neither a Beginner nor a Value for Money Bike The closest Beginner Bikes I see in the list are CFmoto 300NK, Suzuki Gixxer SF 250, Duke 250, Tekken 250X (if one is tall)
Well bro, your opinions are not wrong as most people start on a 250cc and below bikes,on this list we look at 400cc and below as most 300cc bikes are considered beginner bikes worldwide. About the cost, it depends with your pocket that’s why if you watch the whole video I advise on budgeting and all.We also made the list with consideration of what top tier TH-camrs listed and from kenyan owners n all.We will be making a more detailed Top 10 value for money beginner bikes with other pro kenyan bikers soon. Thanks for sharing your genuine thoughts bro🙏
Noooo Are you into sports bikes or adventure bikes? If its adventure then go get the Tekken 250 from Xingling motorcycle they start at 270k but you can always agree on something and remember to budget for safety gear too. If you’re into sports bikes then with that budget you can get a used bike 250cc or 200cc
@MotorView Rides Thanks for the reply. I'm a beginner and would like to get a bike that I can use to move around Nairobi and also for long rides outside Nairobi. For the safety gear, I have a budget of 40k. Which brands should I be looking at for the bikes?
With your budget i would suggest benelli,Tekken,Suzuki, and also Beth Mobility Store has some bikes within that price range…nairobi motorcycle bazaar have used bikes though for used bikes u must be careful and go with your mechanic or an a experienced rider n all
