Sharing our Island hopping in Morong Bataan
There were lots of Bangkeros along the shore are that offers Island Hopping activities that includes fish feeding and snorkelling. It would take 2.5 hrs to 3 hrs to complete the tour. I think most of the Bangkeros offer the same price range. However, since they are still coping from the pandemic and there are only few tourist , so our haggling powers were not that effective (lol!) the bangkas/boat can accommodate small and bigger groups. in our case we were only 8 so there were still plenty of rooms in the boat.
We started around 7:45 in the morning and finished at 10:30 am. Our first stop was the white beach near the Bataan Nuclear powerplant. We spend 30 mins in the island and had our photopp. Afterwards we tried the fish feeding and then went to snorkelling. The water was too salty. We suggest to bring potable water just in case you need to wash your eyes.
Unexpectedly there were jellyfish on the area. the boatmen said that this time was jellyfish season. Luckily, everyone was safe and the kind of jellyfish in the area were not that poisonous.
We paid 3,000 pesos for our island hopping.
