Sunshine, mountains, and a hidden waterfall with a freezing plunge? Yep, that's just another day on my 100 Hikes for Mental Health challenge! This Canterbury gem on the "Ryde Fall Track" trail was the perfect reward after a chilly hike through the forest. ☀️
Even in February's summer heat, that water was COLD! But wow, was it refreshing! Taking a dip in that waterfall was pure magic, and definitely a challenge (in the best way possible). This hike is quickly becoming a top contender for my all-time favorites. Stunning scenery, a refreshing dip, and all for a great cause - what's not to love?
